Days 16, 17, 18.
Given that I missed the past two days of inspirational posting, it's only fair that today be a trio of sorts. And since I just spent the whole weekend sick in bed, today's triple post will be dedicated to how I passed the time: books, movies, and TV.
Some of the greatest stories of all time have been told through books, film, and television. An ordinary girl in Kansas transported to a world of color, adventure, and deceit. A diabolical force that looms over a cursed rural town, waiting for its next killing spree. An orphan boy who finds out he is the chosen one.
Whether you're a diehard proponent of "the movie will never be as good as the book," or you're the type of person that watches the movie and never reads the book, I don't think it matters. Every interpretation has it's own value.
We all love a good story. Stories inspire us to believe that anything is possible, that you can fight the good fight and win, and that love conquers all.
Sharing with you my favorite historical fiction novel! All the light we cannot see is absolutely fantastic. It takes place in World War II France and is about a little blind girl and a German boy training to become a nazi! I recommend this to everyone!
