Option 1 with Clare: Put a light resistance flex band under your knees. You can either sit on your heels or lift up into a high kneeling position. Hold the ends of the band with your hands. If you are doing this exercise postnatally, make sure your baby is not right next to you on the off chance that the band snaps. Inhale flex your arms in front of you, in line with shoulders. If that feels okay, lift arms overhead. Exhale as you slightly extend your thoracic spine and lower arms wide down to starting position. If the resistance feels too light, change your hand position on the band so you’re holding closer to your knees.
Option 2 with Ale: Hold light hand weights. Bend elbows to bring hands to shoulders. Extend arms overhead, then slightly extend thoracic spine as you lower arms wide and down to your side.

Looking to up my weights and thought about getting adjustable ones so I don’t have a ton of hand weights everywhere.

The kiddos had the day off of school today thanks to some sleet and freezing rain ☔️ ❄️ , so I stayed home with them. I was able to knock out my workout early this afternoon which was a bonus treat!! Yippee!

This move used to kill me!! I never thought I would be able to do it - both in strength and coordination. 😬
But - I pushed myself and after many tries (and many falls) I progressed...and that feels pretty good 🙌
