If you’re ending a difficult week or facing a scary one, remember this grounding truth: God is always making a way for you. Maybe not *your* way, but He is The Way and He is always working for His glory which is your good. Oh what peace in the midst of doubt, struggle and fear 💛🌿

Thanks to @biancaongarello one of our first ever fannypack supporters and all round inspirational humans, that one half of this Ghetto Gang has know for almost 20 years! Love watching you take risks and take charge of life B, you are a force 🙌🏽 (with a fannypack) grit and grace alright 😉
We just started an amazing series called "love is" 💕 at my church, and today's message was a great reminder to show love through our patience and kindness (1 Cor. 13). Not just with our spouse, but with all those we come into contact with 😊
This quote in particular caught my attention. Which of these lines tugs at your heart the most? For me it is the last line..."without Love, all that I accomplish is inadequate." I work hard as a wife, as a mom of little boys, in my business, in ministry at my church...but it is all for nothing if love is not the driving force of what I am doing. Love for God and for others should be my main motivation. And most days it is! But not always. Sometimes I can be motivated by pride, other times fear. This is such great reminder, in my faith, family, business, even in the way I speak, to let love be my guiding force...and ultimately Christ, who IS love. 🤗 Happy Sunday friends!
KB swangs n’ thangs!
It’s so beautiful to train your body in different planes of motion and how to effectively and efficiently transfer energy so you can move in all kinds of directions.
Kettlebells are such a great modality for this.
Today we did this fun little complex:
Swing, clean, squat, press, forward lunge, lateral clean, rotational press. 4x on each side. 12kg.
Try it anchored to make it even more 🔥🔥🔥
I can’t believe it has been almost a year since I made the best decision I could have made in regard to my health and wellness. I had tried lots of things on my own and still seemed to get no where fast. I was doing some things right and a lot of things wrong that I just didn’t even slow down enough to see. It took my coach saying Shelley... “it is okay. Try this.” and having a group of like minded ladies to help me give myself grace and strength to do the hard things (like prioritize me). I love it when my clients figure out the SAME thing! We have all been there... it is when we determine that we are changing it that change happens! Thankfully, I have the most amazing program that can help you do just that! If you are ready for this to be your story... join us for the next round on April 2nd! Link to register is in my bio!
A reminder about Grit & Grace this morning!! Not giving up on myself and living with a heart of light!! Connecting with others about serving! My faith is growing within!! #washingfeet#gritandgrace#faithoverfear
If I let my identity come from my work, what happens when it’s gone? Strong, faithful, working women rest in the fact that they are the Lord’s + that means we don’t need to get bogged down with what we do but can do anything faithfully. // Don’t miss “Truths About Work and Faith That Will Encourage You” new today! - link in bio (then find the faith tab) is get the direct link in our bio 💻🌸🙏 #gritandgracelife
So proud. So sleepy.
These remarkable high school students, as well as the few not pictured, brought me to tears with their fierceness this weekend. I always feel honored when I get to watch this team do what they do best: excel in the face of adversity, with grit and grace.
Well done, spuds 💋🥔
“ GRIT....Determines that life’s challenges will neither defeat nor define us....GRACE...gives kindness to ourselves and others when it’s hard”
This morning, I posted this photo and all about my Saturday self care day. I was so proud I took time for me that I needed and also proud I took photos just for me. BUT...I forgot today was a baby shower. Totally slipped my mind and somehow it never made it on my calendar. I have been so busy with my full time job and photography that I forgot. I don’t have any other excuse. I forgot. I texted a friend immediately when it was brought to my attention so upset. And these were her words “ I believe you and everyone needs to give you a bit of grace “...Grace...I mean it’s easy to forgot things. We all do. Sometimes it’s small things and sometimes it’s big things. It happens. It’s a part of life. It’s also Gods small way of telling me I need to slow down. Really slow down. Also..to give myself forgiveness and kindness when mistakes happen. That is what I needed as my reminder.
Last day in my little ole studio apartment 😭
So I’m just feeling all the feels this weekend 😂
It’s crazy that in 2 months I’ll be celebrating 1 year of living in LA! UNREAL. ✨
Sadness + guilt comes in waves for leaving the only place I knew for 25 years, but the possibilities + opportunities here have been worth the fleeting feelings of doubt.
I am paving the way for my future family,
for my nephew, for all the people watching my journey! I am here to show others that CHANGE, although terrifying is absolutely NECESSARY for growth✨
Here’s to a new apartment, a new place to call HOME, a growing TRIBE of coaches, a total mind + body transformation, + 9 more months of a year that has already brought so much growth + gratitude into my life. .
