While the snow puts a stop to any golf I had planned over the next few days, I can’t help but long for the summer again.
Also, rocking the red and black here...yes I will be watching out for Tiger tonight!

“ARM RUN OFF” Is a specific type of “overswing” 👍 Me personally I’m not against players “over swinging” as long as they stay in their parameters (heads not moving into ball/away. Same with the butt), and the “overswing” is accomplished with more rotation due to the player’s flexibility. Now if they’re overswinging due to Arm Run Off we’re going to have a problem. *
So Arm Run Off is measured at P4, and before transition. The most commonly seen one is with players that lack flexibility/have a poor pivot. They either don’t allow the right hip to gradually release from P1-P4, they don’t allow the median of their cap to release slightly, they stay in left bend for too long with no off setters, or simply just have no flexibility. So these Players usually stop rotating around P2.5-P3, and then vertically lift their arms while allowing their elbows to collapse. This gives them the feeling of having a big full turn. Now the issue with that is a whole other discussion...
So, once the players get into the positions discussed above ☝️now they’re in trouble. They have no “depth” which means the hands are very close to their heads. They have no “width” which means the bend in their elbows is very acute. They usually have too much “radial hinge” which can lead to lead side wrist extension (wide open club face). *
From this position to hit the correct P5 positions they’re going to have to drop hand 🤚 path vertically behind them. Extend the elbows upwards of 60 degrees. Go into ulnar upwards of 60 degrees, while going into flexion of the left wrist a decent amount to get wrist conditions/club face correct. So simply put it takes a bunch of compensations to get back to a place where they can make consistent contact, shot dispersion, etc. So in a nutshell, that’s why Arm Run Off is not recommended 👍👊 #kiwicoach 🥝 #ゴルファー#ゴルフ女子#ゴルフ男子#ゴルフレッスン#プロゴルファー#打ちっぱなし#골프#골프스타그램#골프스윙#골프연습장#프로골프#golfer#golflife#golflessons #⛳️#golfstagram#golfswing #🏌️#🏌️♀️#golfgrinders#golftips#golfinstruction#인스타골프#golfdigest#temecula#escondido#sanmarcos#whyilovethisgame#golfgods
