Love this new sign and it’s message. It’s fitting since I’m starting a new Bible study next week on fear and anxiety. Last time about 15 of you joined me. If anyone else is interested, let me know and I’ll add you. We “meet” on a fb group. But if your walls need a new sign, we have a huge order that’s now in stock. #befearless#nomorefears#godisbigger
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. - Isa55,8-9
Time has a funny way of continuing on without us. 🕜
This ring is seven years old. When I bought it, I was in the midst of spending a summer working at a dude ranch in Colorado. I had just broken up with my long-time boyfriend and I didn't think that life could get any harder than that. At the same time, I was having the best summer and I didn't know how life could get any better. 〰
Fast-forward seven years and I've seen so much worse than teen love come to an end, and I've witnessed so much more joy than I ever knew was possible. 〰
It's a funny thing, time, how it marches on and continually shows us how our own thoughts and perceptions about life are oh so wrong. Time has continually shown me that no matter what I'm going through, it will pass - good or bad.
The good comes and goes just as quickly as the bad, friends, and it's not worth placing your hope in good situations, or the next best thing, or fleeting feelings. At the same time, if you're going through something difficult, it will pass. Time will move on, and life will change. 〰
No matter our circumstances, though, we need to remember that one thing will never change. No matter if you're walking through the darkest valley and you feel like you'll never be happy again, or if you're on top of a mountain and you're not sure how life could get any better - God remains the same. 〰
When the darkness starts to lift and you can see daylight once more, He'll be there. When you realize that mountaintops don't last and you need to come back to level ground, He'll be there. Place your hope in an everlasting, a constant, a hope that will never fail you. That trust in an everlasting God will ensure that no matter your circumstances, no matter what time brings, you'll be alright.
