So it seems I put too many tags on my first attempt at this and lost all my text 😭 So here goes...
I have so many photos of food from three weeks in Costa Rica that I’ve shared lots together and will then move on!
It was easy to eat #glutenfree there - most of their food naturally is (corn is used a lot). Ironically the more difficult places were those more geared towards tourists. I ate casados, nachos, tacos, seafood, more nachos, steak, gf pizza, more nachos and even a gluten-free crepe with ice cream (in the bottom right hand corner here). Did I mention nachos...? The Costa Ricans were lovely human beings and so accommodating.
Now it’s literally back to porridge, and to taking photos of Belfast’s gluten-free delights. 🇨🇷 🌮🥩🍤🍕🍦
Food coma is real after this jar🐽
1 cup overnight oats (oats, 1 tsp chia seeds, cinnamon, stevia, almond milk)
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 cup greek yogurt
1 tbsp peanut butter
hemp seeds #GlutenFree#Vegan
Struggle to make a healthy gluten free lunch which is still full of flavour? I've teamed up with @waitrose and their Good Health products to prove a gluten-free lunch doesn’t have to be boring. You can have these dishes hot or cold, and they contain lots of fresh veg and healthy produce as well as being vibrantly coloured and big on flavour. I don't think us coeliacs should settle for wilted salads and dry gluten free sandwiches anymore, so I've popped a link in my bio for these two simple gluten free pasta recipes. Which one will you make first? #HealthWithWaitrose#Ad
Hands up whose favourite meal is brunch? Like, I love it so much I might just eat brunch all weekend for every meal 😂 throwing it back to this epic brunch at @thefriendsofours in London with the fantastic @refrainfromthegrain ❤️ belly pork, cider hollandaise, apple, fried potatoes, perfectly poached eggs - this was so different to my usual brunch of choice but I loved it! 🙌🏼
when it’s two mains for a tenner you have to have two mains right? 👀🐽 haven’t been to pizza express in years as assumed they would use garlic in their tomato sauce but was very happy to hear that they didn’t! i went for the caesar salad to start with no croutons or dressing (had a bit of garlic oil instead) and they kindly swapped the dough sticks for gf dough balls. then for main i had the fiorentina with extra chicken. working at pizza express was my first proper job when i was 16 and i remember tucking into my free pizza and side after every shift, working my way through at least three pots of garlic butter 😂 have to say i did miss it but it was still a pretty good meal, especially for £10, and the best bit is i don’t feel ill AT ALL after it, which is basically unheard of when going for a meal 🍕🥗
Some people ask me if all I do in my spare time is walk around supermarkets taking photos of things. Those people would be wrong. I take videos too 😂 Check out this new gluten free Rocky Road mud cake which is breaking the internet in Coeliac Town this week!! 😍Anyone tried it yet?? ❤️
