Yesterday I had a rough go at it. I should preface by saying, I do not like to take medications. I gave up everything over the counter a while ago and use holistic methods now (my oils, plant medicine, food, etc.). That being said, I unfortunately have to take a medication right now. My body is super sensitive to medications and I started to experience some side effects (nausea, feeling faint). It was quite the day! I stuck with what I know...I kept my doTERRA peppermint oil in bed with me for smelling & diffusing. Made some tea with ginger & licorice, ate some miso soup when I was able, and practiced breathing techniques. I was feeling pretty down, but with help from some awesome people in my life, I was reminded that nothing is permanent and these feelings would pass. And sure enough, they did! .
Grateful today for my patience in sticking it out in an uncomfortable time. Grateful for the people in my life who support me. Grateful for my oils and knowledge of food and plant medicine. Finally, grateful to not feel nauseous so far today 🙏🏻✨🌱

Review product Organic Ginger Aid from Traditional Medicinals.
We source this ginger primarily from India, where it thrives in a humid, tropical climate. Ginger's rhizome or underground, horizontal stem (commonly called a root) sprouts the plant's first shoots within two weeks of planting.
Our organic farming partners harvest the rhizomes after about nine months, when ginger's power is at its peak, then cut them and dry them for our teas. Love this spicy tea, blended with blackberry leaf and lemon myrtle for added zing. Not only does it support healthy digestion, but it's also a great addition to your everyday wellness routine 💛
Hey friends! In our adventures in tea slinging, one of the more frequent health questions we get is if there’s a tea that helps with heartburn. Fortunately, we can help!
For milder cases, we suggest our Ginger Snap green tea - a sencha green tea with ginger, lemongrass, lemon peel, and honey crystals for some extra sweetness!
For stronger cases, we have Ginger Honey Milk - a ginger and apple herbal tea with blossoms! Easy to make, caffeine-free, and incredibly delicious!
Think of these teas as the fire extinguishers to your (non-literal) burns! #tea#greentea#herbaltea#ginger#gingertea#heartburnremedy#medicinaltea#delicious#teasofinstagram#teastagram#sencha#thecertaintea
