Friday couldn’t come soon enough friends. 🙏🏼 Just realized I haven’t shared a proper food diary with you this week! 😱Here’s a flexitarian one from my Sunday prep.
👩🏻💻I’ve been hibernating all week because on MONDAY I’m releasing something brand new and I can’t wait to share it with you all.
😋😋But in the mean time, here’s what’s going on in this food diary:
🔸Breakfast: sweet potato toast (I topped it with 🥑+ eggs one morning and peanut butter another morning)
🔸Lunch: vegan Buddha bowl with butternut squash, quinoa, chickpeas and kale topped with sriracha mayo
🔸Snack: crudités (with hummus not pictured)
🔸Dinner: chicken fried rice (so good omg)
🔸Dessert: sweet potato banana muffins (recipe on my site)
💜Hope you guys have an AMAZING weekend with good food and good company. Idk about you but I’m hitting the slopes tomorrow 🏂 and I can’t wait! #fridayfood#flexitarian#balanceddiet

After a busy week of testing, I needed to make a quick, meatless meal tonight (as I’m observing the Lent tradition of no-meat-on-Fridays). I was so eager to make this pizza with a cauliflower-crust by @caulipowered. It’s absolutely delicious! You’d never know it’s made with a cauliflower crust. 🤷♀️ And of course, I enjoyed a simple garden side salad dressed in oil and vinegar for good measure. 😉 Healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring or restrictive: it’s all about balancing some of your favorite foods with wholesome foods! #fuelyourbody
I've been asked by many people about my diet and what foods I eat throughout the day so i thought I'd give you a little insight.
To be honest with you my diet isn't very exciting, I keep it very simple and rarely switch it up apart from cheat days. 😝
I personally find it far easier to follow a plan if I know what I'm eatting in advance, ive tried many diets including '' what ever fits your macros'' but would always find myself giving into temptation! 🙈So I always prep my meals the night before so I'm all set.👌
I have a major sweet tooth in the morning so In the morning i make pancakes using only oats, blueberrys, eggs and a dash of sweetener. They are far healthier to the conventional pancakes and taste just as good 😍
During the day I have 3 meals at work
(shown in the picture)
I found by adding a sauce to my food was a game changer, it makes it so much more enjoyable and keeps things fresh! I don't think there's anything worse then trying to scoff down dry stringy chicken and dry rice 💀
In this recipe I use
Chicken breast, Spinach and rice with a spoon of coconut oil for healthy fats. For the spicy tomato sauce I blend 1 red bell pepper, 4 birds eye chilli 🔥, 1 tin of chopped tomatoes and a tablespoon of Mr browns Jamaican curry seasoning. once blended I add the sauce to a saucepan on a low heat and add in the cooked chicken breast.
Post workout I have a scoop of true mass
A hour or two later I will have my final meal which is porrage with almond milk and a side of scrabbled eggs
During my offseason I've been tracking progress by weight increase but most importantly visually, If I start to get leaner I up the food slightly making sure I'm always in a calorie surplus 💪
If anyone has any more questions, I'm happy to help so fire away! 😆
You asked. Some of my favorite healthy-arty New York City haunts: @dimestimes (above) @cafehenrie, @demarianyc, @marlowandsons, @dirtcandynyc, @abccocina, @fiveleavesny, @bakeribrooklyn and @thealchemistskitchen. These are distinctly New York institutions in my mind-- good color blocking, small-batch ceramics, Hudson Valley ingredients, minimalism, local brands, disinterested hipster-like wait staff, eclectic LES-looking patrons. It's all good. IMO the best New York City cafes are the ones that imitate California restaurants, and the best California cafes are the ones that imitate New York City restaurants. Intentional or not, imitation usually breeds its own form of innovation.🍴 •
