There are many different methods for interpreting information. I connect with sensory modes of learning the best, and often the methodology of traditional learning with following steps 1, 2, and 3 is no bueno for me. There are so many different ways to get to 3. Following these formulas often makes me judge my own intellect by comparing it to societal programming of “how we learn”. I often rebel and search for different ways of comprehension. To learn about Yoga, i say you can’t follow a book alone. There is not one “right” method because we are all so wonderfully individual. The research of mind-body science exists within, through practice and inquisition. Everyone has a different method for experiencing and understanding. Sharing this helps others to gain alternate perspectives on approaching new information. What do you learn when you’re on your head?
Morning practise is all about awakening with kindness, playing into the hips, spine, chest; rediscovering the earth through feet and hands (and not about perfect hair or presentation). Finding balance so that I can keep readjusting throughout the day as new weights get added to the scales!
Each morning there is an opportunity to restart, refresh and move forwards with openness and receptivity. 💚❄️
