Campari. Lillet. and Grapefruit🍸:: I’m excited to share my first video recipe! Quite the scene setter, I was intrigued by the beauty of this drink when I saw it on @lonnymag and knew I had to make it immediately. I think it’s just perfect for a dinner party, especially an impromptu one on a school night!
*Recipe - 4 ingredients ::
1 ounce **Dorothy Parker Gin @nydistilling
1 ounce Campari @campariofficial
1 ounce Lillet Blanc @lillet1872
1 wedge of pink grapefruit
1 twist of pink grapefruit peel for garnish
How to make ::
Fill cocktail shaker about halfway with ice. Add Gin, Campari, Lillet Blanc, and then squeeze the pink grapefruit wedge for juice. Shake and strain into chilled coupe glass and garnish with a twist of grapefruit peel.
Note: I used a mixing glass in the video so you could see the ingredients but it’s not necessary to use a mixing glass to mix the ingredients.
*Recipe: Diana Yen @jewelsofNY.
**I used Dorothy Parker Gin made right here in Brooklyn!
PiNK & PURP Power Bowl! 🤓 2 of the most powerful antioxidants are beets and acai! ✔️Pair it with some fresh @pitayaplus dragonfruit, sprinkle some Spirulina which is a form of algae, full of iron, iodine, omegas and protein, add some zucchini and avocado for fiber, healthy fats and nutrient absorption purposes and you’re guaranteed to have a good day! 😉💃🏻 #nourishingnelli#eatrealfood
Costco was selling their rustic French bread and got me thinking for dinner to make a stuffed pasta bowl. Take the innards of the bread (save those for breadcrumbs later), add some garlic butter, slight toast it, and add broccoli and chicken Alfredo inside. Then finish baking it in the oven. Look how stuffed it is! Definitely for a carb lover! 👩🏻🍳😋🐔🥦🧀🥖
I don’t know much about my mom’s father whom I call “Gung Gung.” You see, he died of heart failure before I was born and I know his face only from photos. According to my mom, Gung Gung loved to cook. While my grandmother, Poh Poh, cooked during the week, Gung Gung took over the kitchen on weekends. And he’d often make this rice noodle dish for breakfast or lunch. Gung Gung taught my mom how to make it and she made it for us when we were growing up. All it is is rice noodles braised with eggs, broth or water, salted cabbage (dong cai), green onions and a healthy dose of fish sauce. It’s such a simple dish yet oh-so tasty. I make it often—when my fridge is bare, if I need to whip something up fast, or I’m just craving a taste of home. The recipe is in #TheAsianGrandmothersCookbook . .
All Hail the King! 👑 ❤️🎬See the movie, eat the pie. Strong, loyal, noble and HUNGRY! Don't worry, I made the Black Panther a yummy pie to curb his cravings. It's chock full of chocolatey deliciousness. Okay, it's actually an apple pie disguised in a yummy chocolate crust so it looks like the Black Panther himself. Have you seen the movie yet? This latest Marvel movie is phenomenal. You will love it even if you've never read the comics. Did you know that a BP movie almost came to fruition in 1992 with Wesley Snipes, who was interested in playing the King at the time? Sadly it got scrapped not long after so this movie has taken almost 30 years to finally hit the big screen. The Panther's real name is T'Challa, King of Wakanda. He was created by Stan Lee & Jack Kirby and first appeared in a Fantastic Four comic book in 1966. This latest superhero movie is breaking tons of records and has just topped the 5th straight weekend box office--one of the only 3 movies to do this in two decades! If you haven't seen it yet, you need to check it out. It definitely deserves its own pie, which we devoured post-movie to make it a compete Black Panther night 🎬🤗🍿🍺. Swipe to see a couple of my pastry sketches--my work in progress before I added the dark chocolate. Because Superheroes are definitely more fun when they come in chocolate form. Let's suit up & eat pie. Happy Monday, friends! 😃💖☀️ #blackpantherpie#chocolate#glutenfree#marvel#superheroesinpieform#blackpanthermovie#allhailtheking
This Frisée Salad with Bacon & Egg (also known as "Salade Lyonnaise") is on the blog today! The recipe is from @clotildenet's brand new cookbook #TastingParis .

Clotilde Dusoulier is one of my all-time favourite bloggers & food writers (the talent she has!). Clotilde sent me her book a few days ago, and it has not left my side since then. Simply put, this is how every cookbook about French food should be. Clotilde embraces timeless French-Bistro fare - so dear to Parisian hearts - yet goes beyond them and shows us how locals really eat today – be it Moroccan, Armenian or vegan. It’s both a nostalgic love letter to her city and an insider’s look at a Paris, that’s fully embracing the modern take and ethnic influences – something only a native Parisienne like Clotilde can do.
Thank you Clotilde for your inspiration and for producing work that goes beyond the cliches and offers an imagery of French cuisine that is modern, in movement, and above all - real. French lovers, French curious, Francophiles or simply foodies, you need this book (it's out tomorrow!). All the details on Clotilde's account.
Beautiful Choc Chunk Buckwheat Banana Bread 💛
Maybe the most made in the book.🤔 The first recipe made here & gorge 📸by @charlottemurphyphotography
It’s a #zerowaste win for turning black bananas into decadent cake. Mega simple. And full of beautiful ingredients like Buckwheat, a non grain related to rhubarb that adds a delicious nuttiness. That is great for skin as well as overall brilliance. Eating for skin boosting I’ve been up to for ages. But I’ve just started looking at how 💩 some ingredients commonly used are. So I’ve gone into research mode. Finding all the best natural, organic and effective skincare products out there. Sign up to my newsletter to stay up to speed. I got home from class and had a little time to spare before going to @inbalancesa 💃🏼, so I plopped down on the couch, grabbed a couple cookies 🍪(@alyssascookies) and made a blueberry tea ☕️ from my March @sipsby box [Use the code “devoTEA” for 50% off your first box] in my new California mug from @starbucks. Does anyone else collect these?😂

What's in your prep? Didn't mean to, but I created a mini vegan meal prep this week to get me through a couple lunches and dinners. On the roster this week:
1. GF Roti
2. Curried cabbage
3. Vegan stir fry
4. Spiralized zukes
I need to stop watching Korean shows that feature street food and market food before dinner. One episode featured tonkatsu, and childhood favorite, but loved at any age. One vendor made a creamy curry sauce to put under it. So I tried it as well! So good! 👩🏻🍳😋🐷🥢🍛
