In July I had the most special and memorable weekend with these two beauties.
I had texted with both of them on and off for a while but this trip was my first time meeting in person them.
I have to admit I was super nervous.
I didn’t know what to expect or if our personalities would mesh or how it would all go.
But that nervousness quickly dissipated after we hugged and said our hellos at the airport and hit the floor running for the next 5 days! .
That weekend was a whirlwind from the Lee Labrada Classic to crazy Uber rides to horses crossing major roads in the city at midnight....to scorching hot rock scaling and puddle jumping 😉 to a girl crying session in the car with @jamieeasonmiddleton 🙏🏻 we just had such a fun and special weekend together and I’m so grateful for that memory! .
I just wanted to take a moment to send my love to these gorgeous mamas who I admire, pray for and love daily even though we are so far away.

When we first opened the studio I thought I would take the dogs with me all the time, even daily, to workout and do yoga in there. I thought I was going to be in the best shape of my life. How many times have I done this over 1.5 years? Maybe 10. Maybe. 🙄

Upper Body session today; with a increase of 5kg on the majority of lifts; IMPRESSED!
After last weeks squat; I thought let's try get into the mechanical position of a deadlift. -
Again through consistent training, addressing the over active muscles(stretching) and strengthening the under active muscles and mobility work he was able to deadlift 50kg for an easy 10; with LOADS more left in the tank👏🏻
Used the trap bar for this, nail this, progress and then mabye a conventional deadlift but it's not a priority at the moment! -
Can't wait to see what else he can achieve👊
So I started my vision quest this morning trying to turn back the hands of time and rewind being a fatty. Someone asked me last night if I actually use my own supps lolol. Um no I go out and buy supplements from other companies when I have an entire warehouse of like 50 different products bro lmao. Come on dude. Anyway, I started this stack this morning and I’ll run this one for a few days before I change it up. @slapnutrition Bro-V Multis, Chocolate Fudge Super SLAPFOOD this morning, @wildwestnutrition BONNIE/CLYDE pwos mixed, popped a couple BOILERMAKER fatburner caps, using WW RETRIBUTION Root Beer Float Tri-Protein for the gainz, the SHERIFF Peach Cobbler BCAAs for recovery, and then tonight I’ll pound some SLAP! RELAX, BRO magnesium so I can float on a cloud and sleep like a baby. So that’s my starting stack. I’ll change it up every few days. Do you even stack bro? Yes, yes I do. Kada treniramo, mišići troše glukozu za stvaranje energije. Kada nema dovoljno kiseonika, kao produkt razlaganja glukoze, u mišićima se taloži mlečna kiselina. Ona je zaslužna za "burning" efekat koji osećamo tokom treninga.
Kako bi se obezbedilo više kiseonika, priliv krvi u mišiće koji rade postaje pojačan. Krvna plazma ispunjava međućelijski prostor u mišićima i to stvara onaj osećaj pumpe koji svi tako volimo i na koji smo takoreći navučeni.
Ključno pitanje - da li je mišićna pumpa pokazatelj dobrog treninga? Moj odgovor je sledeći: SVAKAKO JESTE VIŠE NEGO UPALA MIŠIĆA ALI UOPŠTE NE U TOJ MERI KOLIKO LJUDI MISLE.
Većina kvalitetnih treninga će doprineti mišićnoj pumpi, ali obrnuto uopšte ne mora da bude slučaj. Hajde malo logičnog razmišljanja. Da li mislite da će vam to što ste gurnuli krv u neki deo tela na sat vremena doneti neke ogromne rezultate na duži vremenski period?
U sledećem postu ćemo naučiti šta je to što je definitivno najbolji pokazatelj dobrog treninga.
