Throw back to the time I stepped on stage not knowing I was 6 weeks pregnant. .
I struggled sooo hard those last few weeks to lose weight and I was soo discouraged. I was doing everything right and pushing my body past it’s limits. And after the show when I found out I was pregnant I was so shocked. .
This is not how I wanted to look after 12 weeks of prep.. but I committed to something so I had to see it all the way through. I knew I wouldn’t win, but I tried so damn hard to get where I was so I was not giving up. .
Now looking at this, I know I can do better. I know I can do another prep and step on that amazing stage with 100% confidence in myself. I will not stop until I reach the goals I had in place over 2 years ago. After 3 kids, I am ready to get my body back.
Been going to the gym more recently, which is a scary new way to work out for me (until this year, I’d never worked out outside of martial arts!) but the more new, scary things that I try, the stronger I feel. This was yesterday, my first time bench pressing. 💪🏻(@mr.rob.butler pls come wash my hair, I can’t lift my arms)
