I’ve posted about actual pizza before but here’s a weird broccoli egg pizza thing.

Sauté the broccoli, add the eggs then throw it in the oven. Add pizza sauce and whatever toppings you want after. I went for cheese and cherry tomatoes. This ones pretty customizable and you don’t even have to do a pizza theme.

This whole thing is extremely filling and not even that many calories. The majority of it is broccoli and egg whites so your getting tons of protein and fiber.

I watched the secret last night and it was a good reminder that everything u think, u become...and u can change what you are thinking about at any moment 
I had some frustrated moments today with the  cues in my work out ... I thought, if I were blind I wouldn’t know what the heck to do, but then I turned it around and was Grateful that I had sight.  Then I was frustrated that she was transitioning too fast and I couldn’t keep up, then I was grateful that I am at home and not paying $20 for a class with an instructor where I can’t curse out loud and then realize I can also press pause. Then all during my work out I heard how frustrated Ryan was with the kids and It was soo distracting then I realized I am grateful I have e a wonderful partner in life that knows how important my me time is to me. Every frustrating moment, I became more grateful for everything u DO have 🙏

There’s always an opportunity to turn each thought around to something grateful, and a grateful attitude creates more positivity in your life ❤️❤️❤️ I was inspired because of a guy in the movie who was paralyzed by an airplane crash and was told he would be a vegetable for the rest of his life but he still had his mind... and he concentrated on visualizing walking out of the hospital on Christmas Day, and he did ❤️It was a miracle, but I believe that the mind is REALLY that powerful 💜 “Gratitude is the best attitude”

Woke up w/ a craving for scones & I found this super easy scones recipe by @cearaskitchen 👩🏻‍🍳 Doctored it up w/ cinnamon instead of nutmeg, added maca + vanilla, & reutilized the sugar I sifted out of @foodstirs baking mixes 💪🏻☺️. I reduced the sugar amount to 3 tbsp, but I would add more next time as well as a splash of almond extract 🙊😉. Recipe is linked in stories 👌🏻.

Saturdays are for baking all the snackssss 
Chocolate Chip Banana Nut Protein Muffins (13g protein!). INGREDIENTS
* 2 cups @kodiakcakes Power Cakes mix
* 2 scoops unflavored protein powder (I use @jarrowformulas) * 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
* 3/4 cup nonfat milk
* 3 bananas, mashed
* 2 tbsp vanilla extract
* 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
* 1/8 cup chocolate chips
* 1 cup protein granola – OPTIONAL (I used @nature_valley)

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350F. Line a 12-cup muffin pan.
In a large bowl, mix together Kodiak mix and protein powder.
Add yogurt, milk, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract; stir until just-combined.
Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.
Fill each muffin cup about 3/4 of the way full and top with protein granola.
Bake for 18-23 minutes, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool (if you’re patient) and enjoy!

Nutritional Information (1 muffin): 190 calories, 6g fat, 24g carbs, 13g protein

I was craving those giant double chocolate muffins from Costco (weird because I haven’t had them in probably a decade!) this morning, so I made these instead. Best protein muffins to date! So moist and delicious. Recipe is on the Vega website. I changed it up a little by substituting the coconut flour for 1/4 cup almond meal and 1/8 c organic sprouted spelt flour and used bob’s redmill egg substitute. I also used unsweetened bakers chocolate (4 squares) melted in the almond milk and 3 Tbs krisda chocolate chips in the batter. I made the recipe into 10 muffins instead of 12. Anyways, I totally crushed my workout this morning 💪🏻 70min cycle class, which ended up being my highest mileage ever at 16.3mi, and a 5 mile run at 8:30 min/mi pace. Time to do some cleaning and then get ready to meet up w my gal @plantandsimpleeats for some vegetarian sushi! 🍣

Mixed up our workout today by going to a half run/half spin class event, that was a lot of fun!
Brought me back to my days where I was hitting up 5 AM or 5 PM spin classes all the time, and while I LOVE the energy, the music, and the excitement from a group fitness class, it's just not something that I can do very often. Between the extra pricey luxury classes 💸💸, the time it takes to get to and from class (hiiiii evening traffic 🚘), and the time getting set up/registered/etc., it's a BIG commitment, and I'm too busy to do that 6 times a week.
Not to mention NO nutrition support, which is 100% what I need because if it were up to me, your girl would be going out getting muffins, cupcakes, and pizza after each of these classes.

So while I find these types of classes SO fun, they're just not sustainable for me. They're way too expensive, and I actually get better results from staying accountable with my online community and doing my workouts in my apartment. Because I can actually commit to these shorter workouts in a more convenient place.

1. I mixed Whole Foods grassfed beef with taco seasoning (made a bunch to use throughout the week). Then put into 4 oz Portions.

2. Served on top of 2 cups baby kale and spinach, 1 tbsp garlic hummus, 1/4 cup roasted sweet potato, a couple pieces avocado, a few slices hot green peppers, and some microgreens.
