J'appelle ça un pot-pourri (un peux comme c'est mélanges de fleurs séchées qui puent 😷) 😏
Alors je balance tout ce que j'aime...
puis je le mélange dans un bowl ou une assiette creuse 🍽

Anyone who has ever considered crossfit, know that it’s worth it!!
8+ years ago, I had this friend who would not shut up about this new workout routine. She swore I could get a better workout in 45 mins than I was able to give myself in the 2 hours I was spending at the gym every day. Eventually I went...and loved it. Caitlin, you're the reason I, and so many others, gave this crazy Crossfit thing a try, so thank you!
In those 8+years, life has happened. I got injured, back surgery, more injuries, break-ups, weight gain, weight loss, new relationships, bought a house, serious medical issues and diagnosis, a wedding, and a baby....but through all of that, Evviva has been my consistent companion. This crossfit family has been there everyday just waiting to push me, laugh with me, make me sweat, and keep me going on this lifetime fitness journey.
I've been to other gyms but this community is one in a million and can't imagine my life without Evviva. From the box on 40th to the gym on Charnelton and now our spot on 6th, Evviva is my place! I believe God catches our attention with beautiful sunsets sometimes as a little hug from heaven. Shortly after having a break down in my room, I was sitting in my chair at the table. I noticed a fiery reflection in the window in front of me so I quickly jumped up and looked behind me. Such a beautiful, bright sunset! I was then reminded that minutes before that I was crying out to God in my pain, and had asked him to show some sort of sign, or comfort. I truly needed that "little" hug from heaven.
Yesterday was hard, what day isn't though right now? But God gave me a joy today even in my hurting. David let me sleep in until after 9, woke up to a Cold press coffee he brought home for me, kids had started school on their own, made my breakfast, the kids had their shakes, and then we did some yoga stretching as a family. After that I did my workout while the older ones made lunch, and then after my shower they played outside. David's belated birthday present arrived, did dinner, some pm yoga with the kids, and then read a story about Easter and off to bed they went. I needed this little refresher today, and am so thankful my family met me in my time of need. Lots of hugs and kisses from them, extra help, and a lot of love.
Sometimes it is hard for me to focus on what is in front of me, when my heart hurts so much. It's a process for sure, but wouldn't be where I am without these little munchkins, a loving husband, wonderful friends who let me vent, and a family that is my whole world!

Tire flips are about strength, explosiveness, and endurance. Begin to lift using your hips to drive your chest into the tire. Don’t lift with your arms! Use your hips to drive the tire upwards. ⬆️
