🤗Children can achieve good emotional well-being if they feel safe, secure, loved and have a real bond with their parents/carers. It is very important for children to feel loved and attached by their main carers, it plays a big part in children’s emotional well-being and determines how they develop attachments and relationships themselves. When a baby is born, touch plays a big role in parents bonding with their baby. Parents are encouraged to hold, cuddle and kiss their baby straight from birth, this is an important part of the bonding process.
As a baby grows, they can smile, interact with adults and soon stop crying when they hear their parents voice, this is all part of the bonding process. The process of attachment is gradual and are very important to children, their relationships with parents and other family members are lifelong and change with age.
Children also have secondary attachments that are also important such as their nannies, teachers and friendships.
For children the process of developing secure relationships comes from observing and copying adult’s relationships with other adults. When a child see’s their parents relaxed and comfortable around a new adult that child will naturally feel relaxed and won’t feel wary.
|| E i g h t M o n t h s O l d. -- Your eight month update but you just turned nine months 😩. I am so behind!! Anyways here it is. -- You hate being restrained or placed on your back for anything and clearly this pictures was no exception. You are constantly on the gogogo and have been inch worming all around the house for quite some time now with no attempt or interest in doing the conventional crawl. You now babble away, love yogurt, hate your bouncer to the point where you almost tip it trying to get out and are an escape artist, who leaves the room if the slightest crack in a door remains. You are super duper quick to smile and love sneaking into your brothers room regularly. You have learnt the new trick of pulling yourself up to a standing position and walk along all the furniture and today you started to walk with a walker. (But that should be kept for your nine month update) 💁🏻. We love you lots baby Fin. Here's hoping I get my life in order and get back on track with these. #finsmosesbasketmonthly#eightmonthsold#firstyearoflife
1 year ago today, at 5pm, this little munchkin was welcomed into this world by so many people who anxiously awaited his arrival! He started out this tiny 7lb 11oz baby who lost a pound in his first days, and is now this 26lb, walking, talking, smiling, loving boy.
Alexander, dream big son. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't achieve great things, for you have already started. Keep God on your side always, and you will do amazing things! We love you more than words could ever express. We can't wait to watch you continue to grow and learn.
Happy 1st Birthday baby boy! (Now, I hope I'm not a crying mess all day!) #babyboygammons#alexander#firstbirthday#mybabyisone#firstyearoflife#ilovemybabyboy#dreambigalexander
Nine months is such a fun age. Most babies are solid at sitting and crawling, but not super mobile. So, their bodies usually have a bit of chunk and pudge. I love how you can see Little Man’s birthmark on his roly poly thighs. Loving both the B/W and color version of this shot.
As a baby friendly hospital, we encourage all our new moms to breastfeed their newborns through the first year of life. Our classes are a great way to learn proper technique and expand your knowledge of the benefits of breastfeeding. Register for a class today at the link in our bio:

Happiest of birthdays to my little love , who is turning one today🖤
I am sitting here drinking my coffee, listening to him drink his morning bottle and wondering how did a year go by so fast?
How did I get so blessed to be this little boys momma?
It still feels like just yesterday, I was three days over my due date , I woke up and just had a gut feeling that “ this is the day”. I called my husband who was at work and we went to the L&D triage.
Sure enough they induced me, labor for me was far from easy for me, I had complications BUT the moment they put my son on my chest all the hard moments of pregnancy and labor disappeared.
There is no other way to describe the feeling except love, pure love, the purest love you will ever feel.
This little boy is so special , so silly, & has such a big personality🖤
I am constantly torn between wanting him to stay my little baby forever and wanting to see him grow up. Watching him learn and grow this past year has been so rewarding & I am so proud of him.
Happy 1st Birthday my little cookie monster baby 🖤 I love you to all the stars, the moon , & back again. 💕 // I also put together a video of his first year of life, so he can look back on and I plan on doing it yearly 🖤 I will link it in my description box! I literally cry everytime I watch it. 🖤 #emotionalmomma
