We have a new edition to our movie car collection at the studio! An original ‘66 British Taxi 🚕 🇬🇧 She’ll get a full overhaul and, of course, a fresh coat of black paint! Stay tuned for her transformation 🎬🌟
Thinking about how we are taught to document accurately and told to bill “creatively,” everywhere we go. Call me crazy but I value free will over benefits 😉 #nostringsattached#travelPT#independent 🎶 Music video coming soon 😃
Old school lighting. Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, 2004. Ten 20,000 amp generators needed for our rig in Downey, CA. Just over 6,500 dimmers for more than 1,300 6K Spacelights. Miles of cable...4Ø and socapex. Rigged by the great Gary Dahlquist. Teched by Josh Thatcher. CLT was the one and only John Buckley.
Throwback to the set of All is Vanity, aka The Tribe, where I first met and script supervised for one of my best friends, @RoxyShih, on her feature directorial debut. So many friendships came out of working on this film. The cold, sand storms, no running water or electricity, and 12+ hour days really does bring people together. 😂 #Circa2014#dontworrywehadhotels
Buying the Movi Pro Ring for my Mōvi has probably been the smartest investment this year. Makes it so much easier to do any minor or even major adjustments to the gimbal on the fly!!!
Not to mention being able to set her down at any given moment in between shots to speak with the director or client without having to Lug around a stand makes it so much more convenient, becomes extremely useful when building a heavier rig. 💯
Day 1 of our shoot with @rebel8. Getting this graffiti police car out to the street was one of the most difficult things we've ever done for a shot. It has no engine, no battery, flat tires and barely any steering control. It took 8 men and about 40 mins to push/steer it 20 yards out of the warehouse and back. #nopowersteering#noproblem#purecinema#bts
