Making something special tonight. I hit up H mart and got duck for pretty cheap. Duck breast seasoned with salt and pepper seared med. On top of saffron sunchoke potato pureé. Accompanied with asparagus tips sautéed with shallots and garlic. The asparagus has been tossed with pulverized fried duck skin. The sauce is a spicy orange, peppercorn, ginger honey glaze. The breast is topped with sunchoke that has been fried in duck fat. #feastyoureyes#foodie#foodlover#food

Lotus Biscoff cupcakes:
A super simple recipe for the most delicious cupcakes! #feastyoureyeschallenge
Ingredients:1 ½ cups flour. 1 ½ tsp baking powder. ½ tsp salt. 2 eggs. 2/3 cups brown sugar. 6 oz / 171 g butter: 2 tsp vanilla. ½ cup milk. 1 tsp cinnamon. 3 heaped tablespoons Lotus Biscoff spread (or any cookie butter)
Preheat at 350 degrees F.
Cream the butter and sugar together. Beat in the eggs one at a time till well incorporated. In a separate bowl, combine all the dry ingredients together. Mix in the dry ingredients, alternating between them and the milk. Stir in the Biscoff spread. Pour into cupcake moulds and bake for 18-20 minutes. Once they’re done and cooled, frost them with some plain buttercream or you can be a little extra and add Lotus Biscoff to the buttercream as well. 🤩
