Decided to try and make my own Keto Friendly Everything Bagels. I must say they turned out great! I'll admit they don't taste the same as a traditional bagel because of the gluten-free dough, but they're still pretty tasty in their own right.
My 2nd attempt, looking so much better than my 1st ones - used my food processor instead of hand mixing, then let the dough chill for a couple hours. 2 cinnamon bagels, 2 plain, and 2 garlic rolls. 1/4 of the dough is in the fridge to be used for pizza.
So while I did meal prep today I was also experimenting. 1st off let me be clear, I am not doing nor am I starting on the Keto diet. I do realize however that I have picked up some followers that are. I tried to develop some “Keto” friendly recipes. One worked. The other failed miserably.
I did make these awesome breakfast biscuits that are Keto friendly using my variation of some of the #fatheaddough recipes.
The macros on these are insane.
302cal 5.2c 22.2f 23p. They taste amazing and I honestly can’t believe that I made these with almond flour and cheese. 🤷🏼♂️ I did attempt to make some Riced Cauliflower cups to put this delicious Chicken Pot Pie mixture made with chicken broth, almond milk and veggies but they failed to set up and so that got scraped. 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ you win some, you lose some.
And back from request of the wifey, Enchildas...because why not? 🤷🏼♂️
Holy crap! Why did I put off making @lowcarbyum fat head bagels for so long?! So good! Mine came out a little flat but I don’t even care! lol 🤤 #yummy Sprinkled some @traderjoes Everything but the bagel seasoning on top!
YUM! I tried my hand again at Fat-Head dough pizzas and was waaay more successful this time. I used:
- 1 & 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese - 2 tbs cream cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup coconut flour
Before, I used only one egg and 3/4 cup almond flour. This recipe was easier to work with, and I took the advice of a friend to split the dough in to four pieces before shaping...rather than trying to cut out circles from a rolled piece of dough. *************************************
Homemade Pizza Night. We made #fatheadpizza for the first time and it turned out sooo good! Recipe from the website ditchthecarbs.com We made two versions, one with almond flour and one with coconut flour. We gotta work on making those circles tho 😂
Keto Pizza night! 🍕
We used the fat head pizza dough recipe + some tasty herbs for the crust, par-baked it, then added our tasty pink sauce (store bought Alfredo, naturally low carb, and just a smidge of tomato sauce). We added lots of cheese, mushroom, diced tomatoes, steamed spinach and fresh garlic! Bake and enjoy!
We split some of our favorite toppings in half.
My side: extra mushrooms 🍄
His side: sausage & olives

Keto recipe #2 : Fathead pizza! This entire pizza 1. Tastes like a regular pizza. 2. Contains less than 15g of carbs for the entire thing, and 3. Each slice is so filling that eating only one or two will fill you up(and they’re pretty small slices in comparison to regular pizza). It’s like a thin-crust mini personal pan pizza. This is my second attempt and I’m absolutely in love with the recipe. It’s cheap and easy to make. The second picture is it sliced and the third is the Fathead dough itself. I plan on making this at least once or twice a week! #fatheadpizza#fatheaddough#keto#ketodiet#pizza
