I am nearly 41 hours into a planned 96 hour fast of water, black coffee and unsweet tea only. When I hit hour 96 I will break with a fatty coffee and from then I will go another 36+ hours of just fatty coffee. During those last hours I'm going to run a 5K and when that race is over then I will finally have an actual meal. I have previously done four and five day water fasts and prior to doing those I did fat fasting. This fast will be six days and will be my longest yet even though the entire time is not true fasting. I'm really excited about the 5K and can't wait to see what my results will be -my only goal besides finishing is to be faster than the last 5K I did. Even if that's only by a few seconds it will be a win for me. I am not a runner, I've not been training for this and I'm just gonna go out there and do it. I did the same thing with the other 5K I ran and I did not have to walk at all-I ran the entire time. Was out and about with hubs late this am when I remembered all those lovely sous vide egg bites from Starfucks that I’ve been seeing all over my feed!! So, first bite in I was all “holy shit they taste like unicorn magic and they’re low carb!!!” .....except for the fact that they’re way higher than I remembered! For some reason I remember seeing that they were 1-2 carbs, but nope, I’m an idiot and they have 9 grams for 2. Not super high, but definitely something you have to plan ahead for if you’re doing strict keto like I am right now. But also - there are so many ingredients and not all of them are that great. The good news is that I’m now inspired to make a copycat version in the oven for lower carbs!! (I would love a sous vide, but it’s not in the budget right now) I’ll share a recipe as soon as it’s worthy!
Also, they were out of the cute little egg bite trays, so I got mine in an oatmeal cup. Go figure! 😂☹️
🦐🥩♥️♥️ Valentine’s Day in this house means a fancy meal - but like, we pretty much take every and any opportunity to celebrate and eat good shit whether we truly celebrate the holiday or not. It’s how we roll.
So, this lobster tail, ribeye, and artichoke (dipping butter and side salad with bacon not pictured) were dopeeee. (Although I have to say a big ol’ “screw you” to the sales flyer that tricked this Maine gal into buying just the lobster tails. Where are my succulent claws and suckable legs? Not to mention the rest of the body that would make a killer seafood stock! Anyway, I digress...
The good news is that hubs and I could only put a dent in our plates, so I have tons of leftovers with which to work my magic!! Yay!

Breaking my fast at 4pm with these fancied up eggs with cheese, hot sauce and everything bagel seasoning.
Tried keto coffee this morning before my morning Hiit workout on the treadmill and now I see what the rage was about. Have some time do a second workout this evening so gonna double up with an at home workout.
Got this amazing idea from @the_keto_dad 👏🙌.
🌱Made a 90 second keto muffin, cut in half and toasted.
🌱 Melted cheese on both halves.
🌱 Added mayo, garlic aioli mustard, avocado, bacon, tomato, and a runny egg to each side.
🌱 Sprinkled some sriracha on top and devoured 🤤🤤🤤.
