Combine in Vitamix or blender:
4 stalks celery/bok choy
1-2 cloves garlic
1tsp olive oil
1tsp sea salt
1tsp honey or 1-2 dates
Juice of 1/2 lemon
(taste to see if u need to add more lemon, honey/dates or salt to your taste)
Chop up(cube) fresh: cucumber, tomato, avocado, bell pepper, radishes, jicama..really any veggies you want.
Pour liquid on top of veggies and mix lightly with spoon
Garnish with (choose any:
dill, cilantro, basil, parsley, chives, etc.) *add cayenne pepper for a more spicy taste

I’ve been fasting lately because I feel it’s the only way I allow my body to regulate properly (check out @healthycrumbs_ for more information on how fasting can reaallyy benefit your overall health) and also i’ve been sleeping a lot (explains how i’m still functional at 1 a.m.) to recover from all the daily stress.

"Eat more vegetables they said" lol well let's try that out. Mashed cauliflower, broccoli w/ cheese, asparagus, and some shrimp from yesterday! I also have some beef jerky I'm gonna smash on! Broke a 60 hour fast with a curry chicken thigh and brussel sprouts with horseradish mayo. I didn’t have a set time to fast, I just knew I would stop when I started to feel bad. From past experience I figured it would be around this time. While dinner was cooking I started to get very cold- otherwise I felt pretty awesome the whole time. I was surprised as I haven’t been doing any kind of fasting for quite some time. Dinner was delicious! But the best part of fasting was not having food be such a center of my day- I need to work on that. Fasting is abstaining from food, drink, social media, activities, etc. to focus on a period of spiritual strength, a way of expressing and engaging in worship, targeting specific prayers, and many other reasons.
We fast by humbly denying something of the flesh to glorify God, enhance our spirit, and go deeper in our prayer life.
NEXT WEEK Powerhouse is going to be having a week of Prayer and Fasting to bring Heaven down and bring our friends near and far into the Kingdom!
