I double took on this shot. The layout looked like a religious artwork. Maybe something like ‘The last Supper ‘ by Leonardo Da Vinci. Look at everyone’s position & purpose. Almost like a masterpiece- but with apples & People in Puffies 😂
A little group of us were incredibly fortunate to helped bring in & process @ourmatesfarm Apple harvest. The weather stopped raining for the entire time we were there and only started when we were leaving. Kids ran around under our feet, through the trees, up ladders, feeding friendly cows & themselves apple & had a blast. We were treated to a paddock to glass, hands-on, step by step detailed lifecycle of an organic juicing apple. We learnt about how to pick, graft, grade, grow + plant apples. (I can already see in the future, many other teaching paddock days learning more new skills- I’m so frikken excited! 🙌🏻🙌🏻) Then we participated in a demo of how to pulp, press, juice and store fresh juice. And then open chats on making cider over homemade applecake, fresh pressed juice & coffee. There are makings of a ‘Cider Club’ in the future here - born from days like these. If it’s anything like today, then stemmed from great friendships sharing knowledge. I loved all of this. I know my chap, he coming from homebrew beer history, is so very keen to be in this movement too. I’m am incredibly grateful to have Matt & Coreen in our lives & in the valley. And thank them wholeheartedly for today sharing their story & knowledge and property to us. Thankyou all also who helped them gather their Apple harvest in too - It was simply a splendid morning.
I think that everyone needs to have a @petermarkrhodes and a @gcsoutham as a staple in their workshops. Funny buggers. What a brilliant morning and thanks everyone. So as we rocked up to pick apples the rain stopped and then didn’t start again till we hopped in our car to drive home. Couldn’t have timed it any more perfect than that. Best fun with a apple bucket and a wooden ladder you could wish for. I’ve had the best morning at @ourmatesfarm learning from paddock to plate about apples. With the best atmosphere and best teachers. It’s been a very very good demo run. I can’t wait for the next one. But more about this all later.....
Adding Salubelle to our immune support has been amazing, especially as we come into the cooler months and there is more coughing and sneezing. Germs?
I love that it is right up there with On Guard and Oregano for powerful immune support. Making it perfect for kids too.
How we are using it:
Because Salubelle comes in a Touch Roller and is not diluted already, I am layering it with our immune support blend as frequently as needed, since my kiddos have been under the weather we are using it at least twice daily.
To make your own Immune Roller to layer with Salubelle check back a few posts for my immune support recipes for everyone in the family.
These and many other natural solutions are all part of a natural care system I would love to help you get started with! Send me a message for how you can get started on the basics with an easy start kit and this Salubelle ($129RRP) for free this month!
You have the power to choose a better story this winter - but its starting that story NOW!
BIRTH STORY ....... 14 years ago today he was not in any hurry to enter this world , 40 weeks and 10 days they decided to bring him on even tho I had lost my plug that morning , I entered the hospital and was place in the birthing room , they told me that they were going to put something inside me and when the balloon comes out it meant I will be in labour , so as they did this they told my partner then but know husband to go have dinner and relax , that it would take awhile. Know sooner that he had left the balloon shot out , they told me not to worry and that the labour would take awhile, as the contractions came quick and fast I remember yelling at them from the shower to get my boyfriend to come KNOW !!! ...... It was all happening so quick that I was happy to see my partner walk in the door , they then informed us he would be entering this world very soon and I’d have to start pushing , so the pushing started, but my big shouldered boy didn’t want to come . So then walked the man in the big white boots and in all humour my partner says your delivering a baby not a cow I hope . The midwife holding my hand then tells me we have to go to surgery to help to get him out with a plunger ..... time to push “IM CANT DO THIS ANYMORE I YELL”!!! .... hubby says to me your tuffer than anyone I know “PUSH “!!! ......... “ ITS A BOY “ !!!! ......... 8.8pond beautiful baby boy with a head full of hair and the most beautiful blue eyes ..... we named him Larz Mark .... the second name after my brother we lost in a car accident BLESSED . 🙏🏼 #happybirthdaybeautifulboy @larzlangford .......... photography @samarawheeldon #birthstory#babyboy#youngman#mumlife#son#blogger#farmerwife

You know the sweet angelic voices of our offspring that we so love and when it changes, to the demanding and escalating trill of grabbing your attention? Me too, actually it brings a whole new level of stimulation to my ears, the Mum Mum Mum call 🙈🙈🙈 Please tell me this ends at three?!
Because I need all the oil support for motherhood I love this blend for days when Mum has been uttered one to many times, or no sleep. Maybe all two 😩
To make your own Hot Mess Mumma Roller:
• 5 drops of Lavender peace (serenity)
• 5 drops of Balance
• 6 drops of Wild Orange
• 3 drops of Peppermint
• Top with FCO
• Apply this liberally to the back of the neck and sternum. And maybe consider take out, it’s okay Mumma. No judgement from me .
They say farmers slow down in the winter months...I laugh 😂....
We are just as busy this time of year as we are in the warm months...
During the winter we are reviewing our financials, getting equipment ready to plant, working cattle , cleaning organic beans, and planning our wedding that is in June(coming up fast). We have a group of 30 baby calves coming to the farm Friday even if between 8pm-2am so currently we are preparing for them! Life is stressful! I get it!! However if you have an outlet that helps with your stress, make time for it!
Mine is spending time at the gym 🙃. Find what works for you and do it!
Shout out to the Ohio Young Agricultural Professionals for awesome clothing!
Who would love their kiddos to have 'perfect attendance'. Nothing is worse then your kids having to miss a bunch of school because they aren't feeling well. 😕
I am so grateful for this powerful oil combination for immune support that I apply to my kids daily. I know for a fact this will boost my kids immune system and helped them stay healthy throughout the entire school year! 🙌🏼👊🏻❤️ •
I usually add in a 10 ml roller bottle:
15-20 drops of On Guard
10 drops Arborvitae
10 drops Frankincense
Fill the rest with fractionated coconut oil, and apply on the bottom of the feet or along the spine.
