Late post but we finally have gotten Lawliet a girlfriend after being by himself for over a year. Sugar Gliders are colonial animals and can get severely depressed when lonesome. This is why Lawiet is missing fur on his back and tail, because he overgroomed and yanked it out. We have introduced a new addition to the family, French Fry. She is around the same age as Lawliet and was also by her self. She has a shorter tail, we aren't entirely sure why but a common reason is that they get caught in the wrong kind of wheels. We have a wheel specially made for sugar gliders, and she learned within hours how to use it to almost full effect. Considering this is a week late post, the success of Lawliet and French Fry getting along is perfect. We hope that Lawiet can grow his fur back as one of many signs of bringing his liveliness back. So far he seems to be enjoying his cuddle buddy. Also, we didn't get French Fry for breeding purposes as Lawliet is neutered. We just started the building of our suggie colony. Should I make an insta account for Lawliet and French Fry? #sugargliders#suggies#newaddition#exoticpets#sugarglidersofinstagram
Our hunk of a sand boa boy Lars, to start our breeding program, isn't he pretty? He's in deep shed right now, but funny enough, this boy is only a month younger than our Kimchi and Udon. Udon needs a special mate, but our Lydia and Kimchi will make some gorgeous babies one day!
