Rooftop colour @blancomuseum
When I spotted a sign that read ‘Museum of painting’ I had no idea I would discover this strange world at the top of the hill. It’s like the Taj Mahal of ‘artist’, yep singular, devoted to the work of the possibly self proclaimed #daliofbali#antonioblanco who apparently put Ubud on the creative map when he moved here from Spain in the 50’s. While I’m still a bit speechless in regards to the gallery itself with its two story marble artists signature looming over the entrance and singular representation (with exception of the artists son who is a painter), the bird sanctuary, hospitality and view from the roof get a big thumbs up. #ubud#artist#painter#bali#creative#adventure#travel#inspiration#birdsanctuary#exoticbirds#rooftop#architecture#design#view#colour
Thankful for a thoroughly pleasant experience today at The Perch. Also, thankful for the best date anywhere anytime: @stevekleva •
I had the mimosa flight and grilled cheese with the soup of the day. Steve had the beer flight & the turkey wrap! Mmhhhhh...and I love chatting with Courtney the macaw & the cockatoo that stole my heart next to our table. Loved spending time with these precious rescue birds! THANK YOU AGAIN! ❤️
To all my feather mommies you know how expensive toys are! And how quickly our #featherbabies destroy them especially if you have #largemacaws . So here’s a little tip of mine to help save money 💰
Keep all toy parts that are still in tact (and poop free) to use for toy making. I organize by size/shape and use their food empty food containers as storage bins!
Every toy you buy comes with chain & clip always save these! This will be your chain & clips for toys you make. So even if they chew up the entire toy (as they should) you will always have chain w/clip to repurpose.
For those big toys that they start to play with but then get bored & still have parts/use take them apart & create a new toy! Add those toy parts you keep to these “bases” creating a new toy! Again repurposing what you already have & saving money!
I also starting buying toy parts instead of pre-made toys. It’s much cheaper and since I save all the chain & link all I have to do it make my own.
I’m going to make a short video on how I repurpose for reference to help out! #StayTuned
Also my hoarding has come to good use! I save everything and the hubby makes something with it!
