Entraînement pour des épaules noix de coco 🥥😁
Cet enchaînement met le focus sur la partie latérale du deltoïde.
3 variantes de l’élévation latérale (« EL ») vont être effectuées avec les haltères.
1er exo, on effectue 15s d’isométrie è avec les bras levés de chaque côté à 90 degrés.
On enchaîne ensuite avec un poids plus léger pour effectuer 10 répétitions d’EL complètes en amenant les bras au dessus de la tête.
Enfin, on termine avec des EL classiques en s’arrêtant à 90 degrés sur 15 répétitions maximum.
📌 Les élévations latérales complètes sollicitent également les trapèzes supérieurs.
📋 Travail : 4 séries // 90s de pause
1.a) EL en « iso » : 15s
1.b) EL complètes : 10 reps max.
1.c) EL classiques : 15 reps max.

Feeling reflective at the gym this morning. For those interested I didn't win the challenge but that's more than okay. I wasn't expecting to but I'm so proud of how far I came in that three months.
Bali challenge opens today. I will enter but waiting for the weekend because I'm so bloated from this food poisoning still and it doesn't feel like an accurate representation of current state. I don't have a "story". I'm single. No kids. No significant other. I work long hours but it's not shift work. Other than a mild eating disorder when I was in my teens I'm boring and basic as fuck.
My mental challenge is confidence. It's literally holding me back in all aspects of life (see no significant other above). Work has got me a coach to work through this and I really want to work to a more confident, courageous version of me.
Physical challenge is interesting. I've still got fat to lose and I've got some girl crushes to be inspired by (@alishas_fit_life, @lordlucy I'm looking at you!) but I'm me! I've never broken through this layer of fat in my adult years. I'm so keen to see if I get there without killing off my social life because I'm single and somewhat ready to mingle (ish I mean I could nod at a member of the opposite sex if I was certain he was nodding at me). So anyway there's no point to this post. Welcome to the 6am mind of me!

3️⃣ front raise -> bicep curl
I did high volume so 15-20 reps each round for 4 sets!

What we do at the #gym mirrors how we handle life outside. Sometimes we go hard, sometimes we take it easy. But as long as we are making the #progress day by day, small or big, that's what matters. I've taken some steps back, (rest, laziness, pizza binges...) but it makes me even more motivated to jump many steps #forward . Reminder to myself and you, it's alright to chill but only to kill it later...yee! Harder. Better. Faster. Stronger. (Na-na-na that don't kill me...)

Practicing my muscle ups.
I don’t have a dip bar, so I had to use the squat rack. Get creative, the goal is to practice getting my weight over the top of the bar. Although this a modified version to build up to the muscle up, it’s still hard and takes a lot out of you. Getting stronger and better each day.
