The Cave has always been my refuge. It is where I hear and receive direction from My Father.
But within the past year or so I have fallen in love with these trails. I started out running to compete and to get in better shape. It was fun to see how I could push my body. Through running I have been able to clear my mind. I have been able to release the stress from work or life in general. I have fallen deeper in love with creation and seen it as a gift. I love taking random stops and listening to the water flow on the Paint Creek or the Clinton River. I love seeing the bare Forrest painted with random blotches of green from the trees that are too strong for winter to beat on. I love looking eye to eye with the deer I cross paths with. I love hearing the wind as it tells me it's there.
There was a time when the only voice I could hear was, "you're not good enough" or "you're gonna die like this". But now all I hear is "I LOVE YOU". And that is enough.

It is the n3 or cubed workout - for those eagle eyed of you, it is notable that set 1 is not 1 Rep, it is 3, largely because 1 Rep is pointless at this weight. So it is 1+1+1, the rest of the exercises increase in volume as a cube of the number and form the max number of sets along with the total time to complete.
My bodyweight is currently 77kg, I attempted it at 0.85 of mine (65kg total = including bar) and didn't quite manage the 125 reps on squats before I ran out of time. It really is hard going at an average of 25 reps per minute once the burn kicks in..... The Farmer's Walk activates nearly every muscle group. The core braces and stabilizes the entire body. Grip strength in the hands, wrists and forearms is a necessity. The upper back works to keep the shoulders and chest from sagging....

🔹️There are various implements that can be used for the farmers walk dumbbells, short bars or kettlebells, but make sure you go as heavy as possible whilst being able to maintain correct form.
🔹️Begin by standing between the chosen implements. After gripping the handles,brace your core and lift up by driving through your heels, keeping your back straight and your head up.
🔹️Walk taking short, quick steps, and don't forget to breathe. Move for a given distance, typically 50-100 feet, as fast as possible.
