After turning in a massive paper, 🤓it was time to refuel. And that means Sicilian pizza. Gluten-free Crust from @bobsredmill, using flax for an egg replacer. Topped with a vegan pesto, goat cheese, olives for healthy fats, artichokes, extra garlic for immune support, mushrooms for a dose of vitamin D, pear for balance, and a drizzle of balsamic. Spinach salad on the side 🤤#eatlikeyougiveadamn 💚
Been in hibernation because I hate the winter, but I came out of hiding for an exceptional meal at @crescent_grill tonight. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and her amazing picks steered us in the right direction. Steak tartare, foie gras, rib eye and fettuccini with rock shrimp and scallops made me feel like spring really has sprung.

I present to you the Passionate Green Coffee Smoothie 💚
1 cup plant milk (almond, coconut, oat, rice, soy)
1 tsp green coffee powder @herbilogy
3 passion-fruits (1 as topping)
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour in a tall glass and add 1 passionfruit as topping! Enjoy! ✨
Finally nailed the Pad Thai recipe. At least when it’s made at home we can use quality ingredients instead of the cupfulls of white sugar restaurants use... AND I can include the forgotten food group: cultured veggies!
Goat cheese / kalamata / garlic / balsamic is a crazy combo with string beans and a must try ! Chili lime salmon over kale salad from @traderjoes with a jazz of sriracha . I know most of you might think my life looks perfect from my Instagram and stories but I have been under so much stress lately and I am not that type of person that can be fake as I share my daily life experiences with you . I am considered an emotional eater and I do experience it to a level where I can eat until I am numb. Lately things have been triggering me and trying to get back into my old self is extremely difficult when what caused you to be heavy is creeping back trying to control my every move physically , emotionally and mentally. Now that I have the tools and structure it’s safe to say I can handle it better but still in that sense it is still hard . Life is hard in general , raising a family is hard and no I don’t have all the answers but I do know the answers are right in front of me I just need to be open to see it , and sometimes it’s good to cry it out , it’s good to vent , it’s good to set boundaries we all need a little tender love and care . We are all here for each other we all need to just strive for happiness that’s what I want in life at least .
