Kilo is a very reactive, anxious, hyper high energy German Shepherd puppy. His family loves him very much but they really struggled with taking him out. They wanted to take him everywhere and include him in their life but he was really hard for them to control.
Before he came he got into a scuffle with another dog on a trail when he put his teeth on that dog's neck.
His walk had always been really confrontational and stressful.
He came a bit less than a week ago. This is what our walk looks like now.
Please note there was no tension on the leash. He knew how to make the decision to focus on me and sat down when l stopped while offering me eye contact.
These was no yanking or yelling. It was not a confrontational situation.
We can walk as a team (a pack) in harmony. It is really enjoyable and relaxing.
Prong and ecollar are not used to force a dog into compliance. Those who think that is how they are used are misinformed.
A dog's behaviour will not lie. Kilo is not in pain or afraid. He is very motivated and happy, which is what ecollar training is supposed to do.
