I'm really happy to announce that from next saturday I'll be bringing a yoga class each week to @fbt_gym Coolock.
The class will be on every saturday at @10.30.
The class will be a restorative yoga style class as that's one of my most popular classes to teach .
The aim is the title - We will be looking to restore *mobility * flexibility *strength *stability *balance & co ordination to the different areas of the body .
Classes will be catered for mixed ability so everyone is welcome .
Classes are included in membership or its €10 for non members.
Im really excited to be start & keep an eye on their timetable for more updates .
If anyone has any questions about the classes feel free to DM.

Another blizzard out there, what is going on?! I am making use of this time by constructing a diet plan to ensure I hit my macros every day. I’ve been taking the piss the past couple of weeks with not tracking anything- my tendency is to under eat (I eat a LOT of food, but a large quantity comes from vegetables, which are not very calorically dense). .
I’m not doing this for aesthetic reasons (though building some muscle would be great 🙃), but more so to get my hormones back into a healthy place again. (Amenorrhea is not fun, and I don’t want to have brittle bones by the time I am 30!).
So today I am organizing a meal plan so I know how much to eat to support my activity level. This way even on a super busy day, there is a plan in place to make sure I stay on track. Tracking is really new for me, and I think if you have a particular goal in mind whether it’s fat loss, muscle gain or for health reasons it is a very accurate way of reaching that goal. Just have to be consistent with it😂 Happy Sunday guys 😎

There's so much talk about sitting for long periods of time and the complications along with it but what about standing?? Working in jobs where there's prolonged standing can cause array of problems :tired,stiff &sore legs/feet, varicose veins,postural issues due to joint compression,muscular imbalances due to muscle fatigue.
This pose in particular has a lymph draining quality & improves circulation which will promote a healthy blood flow while reducing swelling to the legs.
Aswell as this , it reduces tension in the lower back &hips .
Doing this for 5-10 minutes after your shift is perfect but it can't offset 12hrs (in my case) of being on your feet. So make sure to add mobility & resistance training to help with strengthening your joints & muscles which will help combat any longterm complications . .
This isn't a post to scare anyone but just to make you aware .
Too much of anything is never good for you so finding ways to prevent pain or discomfort is always welcomed.
PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE 👌

If you don't want to go on the piss with friends, grow a pair and tell them your not going on the piss, be an adult , control your own actions and be f**king responsible. You don't have to make any "excuses" or explain your self, your a grown ass adult, fully in charge of your body yanno the one you live in, the one you have choice to fuel, straight up if you have to try make excuses to avoid being forced to drink , you've got some real sh**ty friends, it's blunt AF but I really don't care, stop being a sheep and control your own actions.

- Consume quality foods that genuinely make you feel amazing.
- Make your own decisions.
