We all have our stories.
Today I was able to take some time to just listen and surround myself with others who have been impacted by drug addiction.
This is something that cannot be ignored and we won’t let it.
Awareness is growing and it’s such a beautiful thing.
I’m here for anyone who needs a shoulder to lean on.
Major shoutout to my two clients @kristalhuntley & @jefferywhuntley for inviting me and my better half out to be a part of this movement.
Regrann from @rhookcastle - Bayo died of heroine overdose last yr. He spent all he made from a lot of illegal activities on it. (Had to Change his first name cos of his mom)
A lot of teenagers out there are struggling with addictions too and to me the causes are more important than the effects.(deal with the cause solve the problem) for Adebayo it was bcos his dad was irresponsible, he was always depressed as a result of the incessant fights at home. The family is the smallest unit in every society and every ill in the society has it's root therein. As youths lets ensure our children don't suffer the effects of a broken home. Losing someone to drugs or alcohol is one of the most painful trials a person can go through, but it's also the sad truth of how powerful addiction can be. It is no joke when we say stay away from drugs. It does too much harm to your body.
If you have seen a loved one exhibiting any of these traits, please take it seriously and go to the doctor. You might just be dealing with an addict.
We need your help. I’m not one for sugar coating. I need to raise $2745.00 as soon as I can. We have activities coming up and we need equipment and supplies to respond to requests. It’s tax deductible as we are 501c3.
I’m not asking for operating costs. I’ve already planned on those costs being self funded again this year. These items that need purchased are a must have to fulfill some special activities and it’s just beyond what I can do myself. “IF” and I stress “IF” you are able and can partner with us, amount doesn’t matter. All of it adds up. Don’t worry, I will not save your information and hit you up again. I don’t work that way. If you want to do a one time donation, that’s exactly what I will consider it. I will not ask you for more just because you donated once.
Donations can be made by clicking the donate button on Facebook or www.k9drugawareness.org or I will message you the mailing address and you can send it directly. I can also meet with you in person. I don’t publicize the address because the office address is our home and I’ve received a few messages that dictate I keep my family safe. You’ll get a detailed receipt for any donation. By the way our books are open for inspection to anyone. All information, needs, past purchases, etc are available for your review. I want you to know where every cent goes. Our presentations are Free to all groups, donations are all we have to keep our head above water.
Thanks very much!
