#Drawtober Day 28
So maybe not ALL kids are evil. His daughter loves to help keep him healthy and infection free. As for how accurate her doctoring skills are.... well actually, relatively decent.
Pros: cute, with cool lil details.
Cons: I discovered I can't draw children. Also, a few anatomical and line work issues.
#Drawtober Day 26
A plague nurse. She looks like she's posing for a painting, or photograph. (photographs weren't around during plauge times. Maybe there's a plague in a near dystopian future?) Pros: I like the way it looks/feels.
Cons: Places like the hand don't have enough value differentiation and get lost.
#Drawtober Day 25
Perhaps an au where Red adopts a wolf puppy? Maybe she IS the wolf? Either way, they get along.
Pros: pup chub is so CUTE. I like most of this piece
Cons: some texture&value is off.
#Drawtober days 21, 23, and 24.
I'm sharing all of these together because they're my least favorite and sloppiest, most rushed... and I'm going to have a busy weekend! The problems on these are all similar and I feel like they don't need their own posts, although day 23 is actually... decent. Day 22 is the only one day I missed entirely!
Pros: vibrant, pops a lot, some cool little details.
Cons: super rushed and sloppy, kind of bland. The ideas were cool, the execution was not.
#Drawtober Day 20
The gravekeeper. No one gets close enough to listen to her story.
My grandma said she thought this was a spooks apprentice and I couldn't agree more. This one's sketch looked a thousand times better.
Pros: the details are alright.
Cons: rushed and lost tons of detail and turned out pretty stiff and lacking a story. The sketch was so full of life and little details. It saddens me a bit, but it isn't a heinous failure or anything like that.
#Drawtober day 19
A spectral buddy. Are they lunar in nature, or the souls of lost companions?
Pros: the fading effect is cool and I like the stars (they make constellations !) Cons: the cat looks kinda wonky, especially in the face area, and the moon is too chunky.
#Drawtober Day 18
Incubus. We all know succubus, but incubus are largely untouched by mass media. (Or is it succubi/incubi?) Pros: Love the accidental pattern in the hair. Wings and spots look pretty cool. Nice butt
Cons: Hands look... dumb. Line work is lackluster.
#Drawtober Day 17
Terribly sorry for my absence! Things got super busy, but I'm back and will be posting the rest of the draw/inktobers!
I had to make a daddy joke. That aside, I really wanted to try more male body types like this, and am happy how it came out. Also, a spider-person? Always a good idea.
Pros: Forshortening! Maybe not the best but it's still there!! New body type on a dynamic, not fully human model. Also, you can't tell, but this piece is suuuuuper sparkly. Very pleased overall.
Cons: the rendering is weak and not very 3 dimensional, and the highlights only flatten it further.
