When you're trying to show your toddler the majesty of the universe's creatures and one of those creatures poops, causing squeals of delight from your kid, while another steps straight into the aforementioned poop, causing you to question your love of hamburgers. Just normal hangs at the farm.
Semangatnya papaku ini boleh ditiru, terutama dalam hal olahraga. Aku sendiri sering malu kalau suka banyak alasan untuk mangkir dari kegiatan mengolah raga. 😆
Papa setiap hari treadmill 50menit.. Seminggu 2x tenis.. kalau sempat berenang ya berenang 1jam non stop, pelan tapi pasti.. itulah kenapa kulit badannya keset kenceng ga keriput.. gigi juga masih utuh.. jaman mudanya malah rutin biking offroad, mancal sepeda gunung dari rumah sampe Batu..Junrejo dan sekitarnya.. heraaaaan 😫 oh satu lagi, minum air putihnya jooossss.. makanannya nggak aneh2.. yah meskipun doyan ngafe juga sih.. tetep bisa jaga.. merokok? iya sesekali.. kalo lg kumpul temen deketnya atau mantunya @galissakti 😝 "dik Galis, papa minta rokoknya dik" 😂
Hey kamu yg muda-muda (aku pisan), masih ogah olahraga? masih makan jeroan? masih njajan gorengan, cilok, sempol, seblak? aduuuhh puhlis, kalah sama kakek2 nihh.. 😆 hehehe..
Daddy Daughter Dance 2018 ❤️ That smile, oh, my heart. When I first fell in love with this man, it was because he had the most genuine and soul piercing smile I had ever seen. I remember where I was when his smile stopped me in my tracks. It’s the same exact smile that I see in this picture. And I thought I loved him then... He loves so deep, so steady, so pure. This is one lucky little girl.
In Australia, every single day, SIX babies are stillborn. But wait, in over two decades the rate of stillbirths has not decreased!
Stillbirth is not inevitable, but it is often preventable.

She's finally sleeping through the night...off the advice from a book called 'Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child'
@yoga_girl mentioned it in her podcast, and my neighbor happened to own it and lent it to me. Thank you @katelippergarabedian It's been a good run of bed sharing, slow crib transitions, multiple night time nursings, 2am cuddles, bum pats, and tiptoeing around, but this mama is ready to move on. I am less grumpy in the mornings, find more joy while taking care of my family, can think more clearly, and most importantly, have WAY more patience.
I'll miss the post partum year, but bring on the ability to lay down some ground rules!
Our children desperately need to learn how to be compassionate with themselves. They are vulnerable to being hard on themselves because they are constantly learning new things, which involves lots of failure.
Self-compassion equips them to live in a judgmental world that doesn't offer grace and understanding for mistakes. As we respond to their imperfections with kindness, they will learn to respond to themselves with compassion as well.
Practicing self-compassion helps our children do just this. Without it they are vulnerable to peer pressure and the opinions of others, and find it difficult to retain their own thoughts, feelings, and stand firm in their faith and convictions. Self-compassion helps them step back and be kind to themselves after going through a difficult situation. They are then able evaluate what they've been through and decide what they want to do about a given situation.
When kids practice self-compassion, they become more resilient, feel better about themselves, and have a greater ability to handle life's problems.
“I’ll climb in” says Jackson with a playful grin, “Wait till I’m ready then give me a spin”. He goes round and round at lightning speed, His dad shouts “FASTER!”, his mum screams “NO NEED!” Life seems to move so fast, it can make us all a little dizzy, But we always find time for each other because for good friends you’re never too busy.
My newborn session for today got moved to tomorrow so today will be full of chorizo toast, farmers market, playgrounds and all the #contracoffeeandtea and I’m not upset at all. So rare to have a day off from shooting. What’s on your agenda today?!
