Why momma gives us the applesauce. Okay it's actually the left over every time she makes Fruit Bites (since apple is one of the main ingredients). Did you know that cooked apples give more benefits than raw?
Apples contain plenty of dietary fiber as well as vitamin C, phosphorus, and calcium. The soluble fiber which is important for encouraging regular digestion – it also helps to safeguard against diarrhea and constipation. Apples also contain a number of different antioxidants which help to protect against free-radical damage and may also support his eye, bone, immune, and skin health.
Make your own applesauce and it can last in the refrigerator up to 7 days.
I have to share this story because it proves how God is always helping us throughout the power of His beautiful companions, animals...specifically tonight the Aceman!
Since Ace is a certified therapy dog, we asked if he could come to Celebrate Recovery with us tonight because well, animals heal us and we all need the healing!
Of course he put a lot of smiles on people’s faces but the story that gave me goosebumps is this... Ace stayed a our feet the whole time during worship and most of the coin giving out except just before one specific person went down to get her multiple year coin. I of course was slightly concerned that Adam Bradford let him out in the aisle. Well at the end of the night she came up and thanked us over and over for bringing Ace and she was in tears. She said she was so fearful to go down to the front to get her coin but she saw Ace and said all she did was focus on him. “I knew I would be ok if I could just make it to him to give him a pet then I could make it the rest of the way down!” I knew there was a reason he needed to come tonight!!! Oh Ace, you are just the bestest EVER!
Thank you for being so sweet and willing to do God’s good work of providing healing, hope, confidence and unconditional love. We love you so much and I hope to be like you one day!!!! You can’t see it that great but Ace is wearing his Blue Newcomer chip that was given to him because he’s part of the family now too!
