Whether I am traveling or at home, I always try and make a point of trying new foods! Not only is it an amazing experience embracing others' cultures with food, but trying new foods usually is going to add a ton of variety to your diet, which will lead to a more balanced diet!
One of the most common habits out there is nail biting, which is often a response to stress or boredom. Sometimes it can be a sign of OCD. Biting nails chronically can lead not only to local nail infections but make you more vulnerable to other kinds of infections because the bacteria and viruses on your hands go straight into your mouth!
