I always enjoy looking to other sports and learning from a different perspective as well as finding out about awesome innovations such as the Spinning Chair. Applied Sport Science isn’t always about the latest and greatest equipment and technologies but you have to admit that this is pretty cool 👌🤙 Repost @melissapaigewu with @get_repost
Love the spinning chair, even if I do lose count sometimes 😜🙃🍥🤸🏼♀️
🍻🍀Haven't worked out much the last few months and haven't poled even once.... found myself messing around at @ash_kicking_fitness' last night and, as it goes, fell back in love with pole again. I need to make some time for my pole cuz I miss her 😩🙌🏼🌅. ++++Thx for the shirt @torchystacos 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮
Your body is a work of art...this week we had a crash course in learning about red blood cell count.
They may look like candy in a diagram but these little babies contain a protein called hemoglobin which carries oxygen from the lungs to other parts of the body...men should have a minimum hemoglobin level of 13.5 & women should have a minimum hemoglobin level of 12...anything under 8 is considered critical and requires blood transfusion - which takes hours/days and is costly.
If your red blood cell count is low you can experience fatigue, lightheadness, shortness of breath - this is a short list of symptoms of Anemia.
Anemia happens when there is a decrease of the normal production or an increase in destruction of red blood cells...the most common reason for anemia is iron or vitamin B12 deficiency.
It is so important to eat a balanced healthy diet so our body can use the proper nutrients to make our blood (if you still experience anemic symptoms, testing for internal bleeding is a next step.
