Grow babies grow!! 🌶
While it is still raining here (I think it's been raining for like 2 weeks almost) I've had to bring some of my babies inside to dry out some ... no sun (which not only makes the plants unhappy) but i can feel it's effects on me too! The spot i had envisioned our garden in is a pond (most of the yard is) im a big newbie so I'm not really sure what the best option is ... I'll probably have to go with some kind of raised beds till we can get our yard to have better drainage .. if anyone has suggestion please comment them below ☟
Definitely needed an afternoon off at the allotment after the last few weeks. Back to coding tomorrow and the ongoing countdown to app launch but I’m feeling much better for sticking my hands in some dirt for a couple of hours. #dirttherapy#allotment
Throwback to the day I first got this truck.
To most, this image may not be too appealing. But to me it represents much more.
See, I’ve owned trucks ever since I got my license back in the day but never a Tacoma. Though I had my eye on getting a Tacoma and knew it would be an integral part to the type of life I like to live, it just wasn’t in the cards.
With past trucks, I never quite had the ability or money to build out a truck capable of getting me to places I wanted to be when it came to the outdoors. Though that didn’t stop me, it wasn’t ideal and presented many undesirable situations.
After too many years of saying ‘someday’ and painstaking saving money to buy a Tacoma, I finally found one that met my criteria and so I pulled the trigger.
Since that first day out, I’ve come to understand just how capable these trucks can be, even in stock form. Sure they have their limitations but that only gives ways to opportunities for improvement and understanding. Not to mention giving me good reason to fulfill my desire to always tweak things and make them my own!
I’ve got so many ideas as to how I’d like to build out this truck and the places we’ll go. Though the process may be slow and deliberate, just like it was up to the point of purchase, it will be a fun and rewarding one.
Never give up on your vision, no matter the obstacles. More importantly - be sure to have fun along the way.
