Met these engineering students in Bhuj and spent the whole day with them in their home and around town. I was happy to see them so close and supportive with one another and thought about how important community is to our health. Living alone in sf and not having close roomies like they have, reminds me to really continue to hone my friendships and make time to see each other despite the inherent isolation of a large city. At the end of our lives what else is more important than love and connection.
A wild canyon filled with history. .
Petroglyphs covering every surface, 100 year old miner inscriptions, and an antique shovel that matches the one on display in a glass case at the Furnace Creek Visitor center. Beautiful layers of history spanning hundreds of years in Death Valley 🏜
