So, a few weeks ago I got to go along with Thislife Magazine to an interview with Mmusi Maimane and his wife Natalie. I took photographs during the interview and then got, quite literally, 30 seconds to grab a portrait of Mmusi before he was whisked away by his aides. There was no chance to change my settings or ‘play’ with my subject 😝 but what an awesome experience!
Here is a link to the interview - such a warm, relaxed couple who clearly adore each other.
And my 30 second pic 😜 @mmusimaimane @our_da #da#democraticalliance#southafrica#parliament#politician#man#future#africa#proud#bnw#bnwphotography
A date has yet to be set for Cape Town Mayor Patricia de Lille to state her case in a disciplinary hearing before @our_da Federal Legal Commission (FLC), but the outcome of the hearings could influence de Lille’s future in office. (@reuters/Brendan McDermid)
As Committee member of the DA Cape Metro LGBTQ Subcommittee I’m extremely pleased to announce that we will again take part in the annual Cape Town Pride March and Festival.
Invitations to all Metro based constituencies will be sent to all Constituency Heads and Chairs and we encourage all branches to join us in celebrating inclusivity, diversity and human rights.
#CapeTown ’s Executive Mayor @PatriciaDeLille will no longer oversee the city’s #WaterCrisis , as her party, the #DemocraticAlliance , formerly charges her with allegations of misconduct & bringing the #DA into disrepute. De Lille says she welcomes the opportunity to present her side of the story to the party’s #FederalLegalCommission in the next 60 days.
Tomorrow, DA Leader @mmusimaimane launches the #PeoplesForum2018 in Tshwane!
Over the next month, the Leader will visit communities across the country to engage with resident on the issues affecting them each and every day!
Be sure to follow #PeoplesForum2018 for updates!
