How UNREAL is the color of that water?! 🇫🇯💧Fiji pretty much lived up to all my expectations. Crystal blue water, white sand beaches, the friendliest ever locals who quickly became fast friends, and drinking Kava for hours until you've peed 5 times and your belly can't fit any more but there's guitar and incredible Fijian harmonies filling the air and you want to prove to your Fijian friends that you can hold your own in the Kava circle even if it's making you super super drowsy and you'll be crazy dehydrated tomorrow morning.

Happy 2018! I'm late late late in saying that, I know. I've been feeling just a bit indifferent about sharing on here for a while, and yet I find so much inspiration and kinship and community in the feeds of others. And every time I sit down to write out a post, I feel tapped into my creativity. Writing and reaching out and sharing not because I have to, but because I want to. When I started working professionally in the realm of social media management the last thing I wanted to do at the end of a long day of Facebook, instagram and blogging was to sit down and do more of it. These days, though, I'm feeling refreshed and full of creative energy, with some pretty varied and exciting career moves on the horizon. So, I don't want to make any promises, but I dare say 2018 might see me sharing a bit more than 2017 did. This photo was from a quick trip to Fiji that I was lucky enough to be included in with the Rustic Pathways Australia team at the end of last year, as I'm officially joining the team and stepping into a permanent role at the end of this month!
