We so need to do a food shop (can you tell by the two different types of pasta 😂) but this was really delicious. Tomatoes, onions, and red peppers for speed, reduced fat cheese for #hexa . 5 syns left to spend today - haha, she says like they’re currency - feeling tired so may not end up having any dessert anyway. Hope you’ve all had a lovely day.
Let go of any drama of the week and fully enjoy the present moment. Savour the little gifts the weekend brings and don’t waste too much time fretting about the future.
Now is all we have and there are so many benefits to being fully present. Yes we can plan and look back on certain mistakes to learn from them but let’s make sure that most of our time is not spent in « virtual reality » in places that don’t exist anymore or not just yet.
Let’s tell those that we love just how much we care about them and let’s forgive those that did us wrong.
Stop dragging things that happened days, weeks or months ago. Stop thinking that « when I have... » is a healthy mindset.
You already have so much abundance in the Now. Cherish it, honour it and know just how lucky you are.

Bit of a faux pas this morning. We came out to the @beefeateruk that the children love and I ate 2 wholemeal pieces of bread, so #hexb is gone for the day. I ordered two hash browns as they’re grilled and it’s 4 syns, counting 2 for any oil they may have used on the mushrooms/tomatoes/bacon and I picked up the wrong flippin’ yoghurt (swipe left) they had syn free 0% and I picked up the one at 3 syns. I ate two of the quorn sausages (1 syn) So that means 10 syns gone already and it’s only just breakfast 😂. Going to make soup for lunch I think. Got a day of doing school projects with three of the children before they go back Monday/Tuesday

In here is a tasty treat for me after a long day and saving myself for my syns. I had an easy peeler and a banoffee alpen light (last 1/3 of my #hexb plus 1 syn) on the way home. Then I had 14 syns left. So I have in here a toffee yoghurt (free), and on top of that a vanilla cheesecake yoghurt (free) with 4 milk chocolate digestive thins on top (6 syns), 4 Cadbury’s chocolate fingers (6 syns), and 4 milk chocolate mikado’s (2 syns) and also some strawberries because I love them. Friday night treat on plan.

After a long drive home and lots of traffic (and watching my crew scoff a McDonald’s on the way home) I just made a @slimmingworld ready meal. Chicken and black bean sauce with sooooooooooo much speed in it. I’m going to munch this down and then I can enjoy my syns in a nice treat once all the children are in bed and I’ve put away all our food and started another load of washing 😂 #holidayaftermath
And the best way to live too! We need breaks from routine, excitement, adventure to stimulate our creativity and our ability to learn and enjoy life 💖

This was incredibly delicious. I tried the cheesy mushrooms that I’d seen on @slimming_millie ‘s page at some point. Basically mushrooms done in chicken stock and half a tub of @lovemyphilly lightest #hexa (totally worth the whole of my hexa) layered on top of spinach, crispy bacon medallions (done in the oven), and two slices of Kingsmill crustless (2/3 #hexb ). Also served with a couple of boiled eggs that needed using up before we leave our apartment. Now to finish washing up, get dressed and out of here by 10am. Wish me luck 😂

I am so grateful for my husbands love, soppy I know but with everything that we have been through this year already, I know that without him I wouldn’t be here or be the person I am today. Looking back on life over the years is mad to think that just a short while ago I was just a completely different person to the one I see in the mirror everyday. Even though the physical changes are apparent to the world, the mental ones aren’t and they are always the biggest struggles. But I know without his encouragement and support I wouldn’t have the strength I have now. 💥💥$591.86 💥💥 That's how much money I blew on a gym membership (in one year) only to cancel my membership a year later, even more self conscious, unhealthy and miserable with how I felt.
The picture on the left is literally 5 days after I quit that membership. I had wasted so much time, money and effort on something that DIDN'T work for me.
I would wander around the gym, jump on different machines, but end up on the elliptical. I hardly ever touched weights, because I did't know what I was doing and I was afraid they'd make me bigger (HAHA if only I knew then what I know now!!). I would leave the gym and go through the Arby's drive thru, cause I mean, when you work out that gives you the okay to eat crap, right?
I had no idea how to "fuel" my body + I had no idea what to do in a gym. I wasn't consistent. If someone walked in and got on a machine near me or even made eye contact with me, I grabbed my stuff and left. I never wanted to think anyone was watching me, I was too concerned with what they thought about me.
I came home from that vacation on the left and I CRIED looking at those pictures. I swore I'd never share them, actually I tried to delete them but Stephen stopped me, because we literally wouldn't have any from that trip if I had my way🙈 I felt so stuck. I felt like I had tried everything. I was a cardio junkie, I was an avid runner and it did NOTHING for my body. I thought this was just the body that I was stuck with, that maybe my body wasn't made to look "fit". I came across a girl on Instagram and decided to shoot her a message. She had a great transformation, she worked out from home (UM YESSS🙋♀️), and she just seemed SO dang happy about life. I SIGNED UP THAT DAY -- Hello impulse decision 🙈 I thought to myself, well, I've tried EVERYTHING but this, so what do I have to lose🤷♀️ I was given EVERYTHING to succeed! ✖️ Workouts (a trainer in my living room telling me what to do and when to do it) ✖️ Meal plans that are SUPER easy to follow and taught me how much I was under eating ✖️ An accountability group full of women on the same journey, cheering each other on and offering tips so much more <3

2 syns already gone today so I used 13 for this feast. 9 syns for 200ml of @oppoicecream mint choc swirl, 3 syns for two broken up oreo thins and the final 1/3 of my #hexb and 1 syn for a broken up mint chocolate hifi light bar. Very tasty, didn’t think strawberries would go with it though. This was great but last night’s salted caramel version was preferable to me. Think we’d buy both again though.
