When he told me that he wanted to learn to cook and bake, i had reminded him that if he really want to learn to cook, he will definitely get burns and cuts on his hands and fingers, but he have to promised me that he will not give up. and he told me, yes, he still want to learn. He had his first burn on his arm few weeks ago (a small negligible burn) and he finally have his first cut today. I’m extremely proud of him. He cut himself while cutting potatoes, told me about it, then i ask him if he want to stop for today. To my surprise, he hold his tears, and told me, ‘no, mama, i want to finish cutting first’. He finished his potato cutting task and then he look at me and said,’I’m done, can you plaster my finger?’ With a drop of tears dropping down corner of his eyes. He didn’t give me a big loud cry, instead, he is handling it like a gentleman and a true chef. After patching him up with his chosen paw patrol bandaid, he told me that he want to continue with cooking and stirfry the Japanese curry. I AM SO PROUD CAN!!! On the last picture, he is showing his fave bandaid and very proud of it.
