I am so excited to have finished the frill gills for this cutie!
I was so frustrated at first, because I couldn’t get it. I just couldn’t figure them out.
It turns out that I simply misunderstood the pattern and that setting it down and walking away for a few days was a great idea.
I came back to it today and instantly understood where I went wrong and EASILY made six frills.
Now I just need to make his fins and put him together!
So close to giving him life!

There’s something to be said about wearing an item you made with your own hands!
I swear I walk around with my head held a little higher 😂 and get so excited (maybe too much 🙈) when some one asks that beloved question.... “Did you make that?” 😂
Finally sat down and started a want/wish list for all the projects I want to make. I have so many patterns saved on IG, Pinterest, and Ravelry, that it’s nice to have the next few projects mapped out!
Do you organize your projects or just fly by the seat of your pants??
I don't know where I am going with this but as soon as I saw a hexagon graph on Pinterest by the amazingly talented @irene_rijk I had to try it. I just rummaged in my stash and found these and I'm DETERMINED to master the plt join. I tried it before but couldn't get it, it was the starting point and corners that threw me but I think this time I've got it whooooo xxx. .
