Neck stretches can feel amazing when done right. The key is to not over do it and try to breathe through the stretch. Don’t use force, instead work on relaxing the muscles around the neck and shoulders, especially during exhalations.

Pose 5️⃣: Start from a table top pose, then lift right hand and thread it under the body. If the shoulder and cheek can’t touch the ground, stack some blankets or pillows on the floor so that your shoulder and cheek can rest comfortably.

Pose 6️⃣: Keep the knees bent if you can’t reach your toes with your legs straight. Grab the big toe with your index and middle finger. Then relax your shoulders, move the neck from side to side to relax the neck as well. Pull with your fingers without straining the shoulders and neck. With every exhalation feel the length from the tailbone all the way to the top of the head, and sink deeper into the pose.

Pose 7️⃣: Start in a child’s pose with the forehead on the floor. If your forehead doesn’t touch the floor, layer a few blankets underneath (make sure they’re hard and stable, not fluffy). With forehead on the floor/blanket, grab the heels, lift the hips and roll the head forward till the crown of the head is on the floor. 
Tuck the chin close to the chest. You should feel a stretch at the back of the neck. Keep pulling on the heels, but keep the shoulders and neck relaxed.

Attachment is our dependence on “stuff” e.g. our high income, house, car, designer clothing, regular beauty products or treatments etc..
We often grow a dependence on this stuff in belief it will bring us happiness. 
We lose sight of what we are without this stuff.
Suffering arises when there is threat to lose this stuff. 
We can end up feeling like we are on an endless chase.

Who gets this?

I encourage you to explore what you are without these attachments or stuff. By peeling off these layers we discover our true self, peace and clarity. 
Looking forward to some challenging poses to build strength but also as an opportunity to watch our thoughts and reactions !

Just 10 minutes yoga a day to build awesome core strength. 
You'll develop long, lean muscles that hug onto your bones and make you feel great. By organizing your body to hold and move, just by using your own weight to build core strength with yoga. Breathing is a key component to working with your core. Imagine the torso is like a cylinder on the inhale it softens, expands and lengthens, on the exhale it firms and contracts in circumference, but keeps the length. When you breathe out, the loss of air volume increases the pressure in the cylinder, compacting the body's center point gravity, allowing it to move as one unit initiated by the belly.

Letting go on a deeper level.. Savasana—also known as corpse pose— you lie down on your back and relax your body and mind so you may fully reap the benefits of your YOGA practice.

During this pose, you close your eyes, breathe naturally, and practice washing away tension from the body. Ideally, this posture lasts for 5 - 10 mins but even a few minutes of Savasana is said to have powerful benefits.
