🚨 Big news!🚨 As much as we love our Essential Oil Diffuser, sadly we have to say goodbye! We need to make room for products and projects we love even more. There are only two available in the web shop, and once they're gone they're gone. Go get one! 📷 @oliveandwest
My son and I spend most of the day today at #dukepark riding bikes and playing hide and seek. #springtime is my favorite time of year and I am so excited it is finally getting sunnier and warmer. ⠀
This is a #durhamskyline platter in spring colors. Background is embroidery on silk and vintage crochet lace. Foreground a variety of real grasses and flowers pressed into clay.
I really like the contrast between this familiar neoclassical form and the city lights. My intention with this work was to highlight the way we view pottery in a contemporary context. I think these vases demonstrate my idea most explicitly. There is no denying that this is a pot, however it is not instantly associated with function in the same way a cup or teapot is. I hope that all of the pieces in my exhibition Social Object are viewed in the same way as the two vases that visitors encounter first.
One of the largest pieces I'm made so far, measuring about 70cm tall! Unfortunately I don't think the crazing has worked too well, may re-fire it some day, but at the moment it fits well on the top shelf in my newly painted studio!
I hope you’ve all enjoyed the sunshine this weekend! ☀️
After a boozy brunch yesterday, I was mildly hungover (pizza for breakfast!) but still managed to finish launching the shop on www.hellostationeryshop.com !
There are lots of new products for you and the images are so big and clear! 👀

My full collection of wee raised bowls I made about 12 years ago, two are silver & the rest are copper. So excited to get back into the workshop tomorrow to carry on with the one I started last week 😃👍🔨🔨😍
