✨Create a space where time stops, the world gets shut up, and where magic happens✨ In honor of getting the keys to my new apartment tomorrow, I figured a #tbt was in order. Right? From late studio nights to early workouts mornings, I sure am going to miss my first NC home 😍 This apartment will always hold a special place in my heart but it’s time to move onto a new adventure! I can’t wait to recreate and reinvent this magical space on the other side of town 😍 #StudioGym#HappyHeart#GetMoving#GetCreative
Been brainstorming ideas for what to work on next and excited to share them with you as they come to fruition ❤︎
Things are good right now :) As I'm becoming more comfortable with color in my paintings I'm having fun picking colors that feel right for the person in the portrait too 🎨✨ This one is called #whateveryourehaving
Q. What do you think defines what feels "right" when using color to represent something in your work? Do you think it is innately connected to what you like, or heavily influenced by external stimulus and / or trends in work that you see in media?
Allegoria dell’arte | Lorenzo Lippi (Allegoria della simulazione) | •K proposition : A video screen is placed on the right of the painting and a video camera is placed between the screen and the painting. The screen plays with a delay of twenty seconds what the camera is recording. The visitor is invited to take a picture of the scene – the delay let him take his own portrait next to the Allegoria - without photo camera in the picture.
Who is behind the mask ?
Rembrandt conceptual | Rembrandt (Die Heilige Familie) | •K proposition: Above the painting, a curtain rod is installed on which is suspended a red curtain in the same position as in the picture.
When the trompe l'oeil becomes true, what do we see?
