Vielen Dank, ohne euch wäre all dies nicht möglich!

Did you know we were meant to take care of ourselves TOGETHER? In a spiritual sense in history, wellness was not done alone.
And yet here we are, 2018, all trying to be independent, retreating to isolate.
And we rationalize by reporting how busy we are.
How we are introverts. ‘Oh I’m not much of a sharer?’ (often says later my most talkative online fitness group member 🤣) How ‘well I just have to figure out how to ...’
Yea, we’ve all been there.
You haven’t figured it out, and you ain’t gonna figure it out alone.
Do you know what an online accountability group for staying in shape & eating right is really like?
It’s a GET-OUT-OF-YOUR-OWN-EGO card and do not pass go and do not collect $200 🤣
Yea, you learn people got some 💩going on too, and it’s not all about you “...so-and-so got tempted & into those Girl Scout cookies (wait, was that my Coach?) 🤫
your friend missed a workout due to stress;
someone noticed I used 10s?
They celebrated my getting my 6th day in the books? wow!
She’s asking me for advice about that Round of week 2?
She’s doing corkscrews? I did those yesterday! “
Strangers... become FRIENDS who care if you don’t show up.
Who want the good the bad and the ugly with no judgment.
Those who are using the same tools you are, who struggle with life like you do.
Friends who will keep you from devouring yourself.
In history, wellness was a community effort.
Let’s get back to our roots.

Through a generous donation by San Mateo County in 2009, Project WeHOPE opened their doors of hope that Winter, and have served hundreds of homeless during the coldest six months of the year ever since. Today, they are a year-round supportive and emergency shelter, offering many resources and services to clients.

What a great story of healing! This handsome fellow was hit by a car and brought to an emergency vet. After remaining unclaimed he was brought to us for some much needed rest and recovery. Well, Ford is almost all healed and will be available for adoption in less than a week. Good boy, Ford! #rescuedog#allhealed#pitbull#ford#goodpeopledoexist#communityeffort
So far today, I have had ALL 3 kids cry at some point. Some more than once… Estelle has an unusual high amount of energy and she’s driving me nuts! The physical therapist came to our house this morning for Evan’s session and I felt like I told Estelle to “calm down”, “it’s Evan’s turn”, “ let Evan have it”, “be aware of others”…..probably 100x in 1hour. It’s a challenging day! I didn’t want to come up with my “daily word”. I’m just tired and I want to feel sorry for myself!😏 But then it was obvious. GIVING! As moms, we give all day long to our families. And then, when we think we are done giving for the night, they wake up sick, crying or just because they can’t sleep (Estelle). There were a few years when giving to others outside of my family was impossible. I wanted to and had grand ideas of helping others, but could barely keep my family fed and clean…. We are all in different stages in our lives. Let's NOT judge and compare ourselves with others... Today, as a family, we are involved in helping 4 families that lost most everything in an apartment fire in our local community. Estelle and I went shopping last night to purchase food to provide dinner for 30 people. She really wanted us to buy the mini pink cupcake because the little kids will want to eat that!(her words) A friend(a mom of 3 also) is giving of her time and resources to provide part of that dinner meal. This is what giving looks like to us TODAY! ❤️ What does giving looks like to you?
