I’m way behind! I’ve missed 3 days! Day 21: Comfort- My comfort is my beautiful little boy (pictures), Day 22: EndoSister- There are so many out there and I’d love to mention all those I’ve met through my journey but the one person who I’ve built a connection with, runs the Endo Support Group with me and who is just a genuinely beautiful person is Rebecca Howard :) Day 23: #widn (What I’m up to Now) - just about ready to get some shut eye ready for the Worldwide Endo March tomorrow in Cardiff :) #comfort#endosister#love#son#endomarch#endophotochallenge2018#awareness @ftww_wales @endomarchwales
When you have amazing friends and family who bring a smile to your face by their thoughtfulness.
Each text, comment, note, gift etc was all appreciated yesterday. I truly am blessed to be surrounded by incredible people.
Those tulips decided to bloom yesterday of all days. They are yellow which my mom loved. In fact last week I bought those tulips from Costco because over 11 years ago my mom had bought me the same tulips to have in my apartment in Vegas. So naturally I couldn’t pass them up when I saw them at Costco.
Something I’ve learned through experiencing my moms death is there is no small gesture when it comes to comforting someone experiencing a loss. I know often times we don’t know what to do or we feel awkward saying or doing anything. But none of it goes unnoticed and ALL of it is appreciated. So if you are ever wondering if you should or shouldn’t do or say something... as the Nike slogan says...JUST DO IT.
