we get up 2.0 ~ the second poem in my series (check out we get up 1.0 , or ‘back.’ which I wrote for Yuzuru after the Olympics) Nathan just did so well (or amazing, that's a better word) at worlds, completely blew me (and everyone else) away…what a way to make a comeback.
Wow…what a season!!! Firstly, congrats @nathanwchen on being the newly crowned WORLD CHAMPION!!!! As an American (especially a Chinese American) I am ecstatic for you.
However, I have to say what inspired me the most was what Nathan said at the press conference, that even if given the chance, he will not go back and redo his SP at the Olympics. Putting the past behind is something I struggle with as a person, and what Nathan said truly inspired me. Hopefully I can adopt that mindset soon. It’s those words that inspired me to write this poem.
I’d also like to congratulate Shoma for pulling through even through injury (stay tuned for some poetry for him!) and Mikhail for brilliant performances. Congrats on your world medals, and ending the season in style!

Do you get elbow pain when you do bicep curls? Here are some tips to improve it
1. Lower your weight until you can do the entire lift with your wrists in a neutral position (straight)
2. Stretch your forearm muscles by holding your wrist in flexion and then extension x 45 sec each. Keep your elbow straight.
3. Take a break from dumbbells and massage your forearm. Run your fingers along the length of the muscle from the hand to the elbow.

Today I got my first post injury bling... and I’m thrilled! Six miles with @runthroughuk in Hyde Park PAIN FREE! Except for the DOMS from sessions earlier in the week! 🤣 and as an injured runner, I know how frustrating it is... but also because you are such a massive source of love and support for me, so 3 miles for you @redfaced_runner ❤️ and Derrick, I know things are testing for you right now, so 3 miles for you too @derrickgoesrunning cos you inspire me ❤️ So, it appears my ankle can stand up to some training and running again... what this space!

I’m happy, healthy, and getting fast again. 16:15 at Hull Parkrun, and still early doors. Coach Dobs helping me on my path. Ray Ray always there for me. Great group to train with.
