This little one has been obsessed with firefighters, EMTs and police officers.
Today a dear friend of mine offered to walk her through the firehouse she works at!
The mini was so happy to use the equipment, get in the truck and meet real firefighters! Despite her shyness at the station, this was a memorable day for her!

Being a mom for me has always been my number one Limitless Spark (feeling like you're doing what you're meant to do). It has always filled me with purpose and meaning. But as my kids left one by one to pursue their Limitless Spark, I felt lost. It took me a long time actually to be fulfilled again with something other than being a mom.
But I want to be completely transparent, it's hard letting go of our babies. If you're also in my shoes, you would probably say the same thing that you don't want to start over and you'd never want to hold them back, but dang it's hard to see them leave. *
Being a mother is complicated and yet so simple to explain...a mother's love is unending and unconditional. That doesn't change the day they leave.
Our adult kids come in and out of our lives in this new phase in life. I had the opportunity to have my youngest home for just shy of a couple months over Christmas break. It was incredible to have the whole family together during that period of time.
*After he left to pursue his dreams it was really hard re-adjusting to life again. I was actually really surprised how hard it was.
The best part of this story though is that I NOW know how to get back to JOY!! Thanks to great friends to talk to about how I'm feeling and the Love What's Next 6 Pursuits that I focus on every day, I am able to move quickly forward again with joy.

Day 60/80 “This process is long, but quitting doesn’t make it any shorter”
Day 60, 20 workouts left, what is this craziness?!?! Today was definitely a day I wanted to quit half way through the workout! It was hard, it tested my limits, but it is done!! So glad I have more time to rest as these workouts get harder!

Since today happens to be thankful Thursday, I got to thinking about my bucket list. One of the things I got to check off of it, was seeing Pearl Jam in concert. At Wrigley Freaking Field! It was one of the best nights ever! And I spent it with the hubs💗 and two very special people to us. I have been so happy with my results from the past 9.5 weeks! Between the physical changes, mental changes, and nutritional shift, I could not be more happy!
Prior to this program you would not have convinced me that at 9 weeks I’ve only been off on times, but stuck to foods on the meal plan only. You would not have convinced I would stick to the meal plan during a cross country drive. You would not have told me I would WANT to wake up before sunrise and workout. Yet here I am!

Now that I have some down time, it’s time to properly introduce myself to those who are new to my journey and give some fun facts to those who I’ve already had the pleasure of getting to know!

1. I laugh when I’m nervous or afraid. Somehow laughing makes me relax.
2. I can speak German (not as well as when I was a kid, but enough to hold a conversation and get around).
3. I was in band from 6-10 grade. I played French Horn and Trumpet.
4. Catfish is my favorite seafood, but I only eat it fried.
5. I love Disney! The parks, movies, shows, just it all! My goal is to hit all 6 parks before 30!

Leg day!! Love love love working my legs! These are just a few of my favorite leg exercises.
I was able to sleep in a little bit today and get some much needed rest! ❤ Played with my little man, washed the dogs, and put my little man down for a nap. I went back and forth on if I was going to workout or do school work. 🤔 The house was quiet and I wanted to increase my weights today, which is always a challenge, so I decided to workout with zero distractions. It was great! Now its time to study!

I am neck deep in school assignments, networking assignments, sessions to edit, baseball season started, trying to plan fun activities for Easter (thanks Pinterest), be a great mom and wife, etc. life right? 🤷🏼♀️

Happy 21st birthday @chloecondo!🎉🥂😘. To say the years have flown by is an understatement and I’m pretty sure I’m not old enough to have a 21 year old, but I thank God everyday that I do!! Today’s leg workout...day 59 seemed a little more intense. As you know it’s been a rough week...it’s hard to lose the ones you love the most...emotionally my heads not in the game, mentally I know what needs to be done! 🤔
All I could think about this morning is all who I saw in the nursing home this morning...I’m so grateful for my health and the ability to move my body! 😊
I thank God that at 45 I’m more fit than I ever was...praying that as I age, I’ll be as spunky as my dear Great Aunt Ada...God she was so awesome! To live on this earth for 101 years...to have the smile and giggle she had that brought joy to so many! 🙏
Today was tough, but I pushed play, kept moving and gave glory to God for all He has blessed me with and gave thanks for Ada and those I love! 💪💕👊 “Today is going to happen no matter what, what you decide to do with it is your choice!” 🤔
