I have a track that plays in my head that says, “You’re not graceful. You’re heavy. You’re a klutz.” 😢 The person who ingrained these words into my psyche wasn’t trying to be mean, but they stuck nonetheless and have defined my vision of myself. 😔 .
Finding #barre has helped me think that maybe I can be graceful. Maybe I can be light and beautiful. I’m done with that track record. I reject that definition of me that someone else provided. 🤗. What track records do you have that you need to reject? 💗💗

Proof: lost 5.4lbs in 4 days eating & drinking everything I love & just walking my dogs daily. Want to lose weight & keep it off for life? Then don’t change WHAT you eat & drink just change HOW MUCH you eat & drink. That’s right CALORIES IN VS. CALORIES OUT IS & always has been true. (That’s what Weight Watcher’s is, they control how many cals you get every day) You can even lose all the weight on diet alone but it’s healthier to be fit than thin. Isn’t this the BEST news, you can lose all the weight with all the foods & drinks you love. Sounds like something I could do the rest of my life, how about you? Why has no one told you this? Because it doesn’t make anyone any money, just think about that for a minute. It doesn’t make any money telling you to just eat less! I know it sucks thinking of eating less, I love food too but let me ask you, wouldn’t you rather eat less of the food & drinks you love or would you rather eat more of the food & drinks you don’t really like, what do you think you’ll stick to for life?
Here’s what you need to do for weightloss (only): Use a free food & drink tracking App or website (I use the free Lose It App, ex pic). It’s 1000-1500cals for non-active people & 1200-1800cals for active people of women who weigh over 165lbs. OR if you don’t want to use the App then just dish what you normally eat & drink in a day but get rid of a 1/4 of it, throw it out before they eat & drink, then eat or drink that 3/4. That way you are only eating 3/4 of what you’re used to. Once your comfortable with that try a 1/4 more & keep going till your the weight you want to be. Weigh yourself everyday & watch it fall off. I’ll be proving this by eating what I love everyday till March 24, a bikini competition I entered to show it can be done, weightloss with all the foods & drinks I love (my favs are bread & choc) & you can to! Don’t believe it, try it for s couple of days, what can it hurt to try! Training moving along nicely after my break. Continuing on using the same system as my last phase with this cycle using a descending rep scheme.
Using @stephane.cazeault words from his latest @thibarmy Article - The goal of a descending rep scheme is creating a strength adaptation through progressive increases in exercise load from set to set. The weight increase from each set should be 2-3%.
The key I always find and where many people go wrong is with weight selection. It’s important to stay conservative with the initial weight selection so that you can perform the exact repetition called for on each set. Assuming you’re getting enough rest between sets, a drop-off in reps would signify you chose a starting weight that was too high.
Here’s the final set of A1 Dips (9-8-7-6) with +30kg added which was supersetted with A2 - 4x10-12 Pronated Pull ups.
Finished with a few D Series heavy yoke (4x body weight - 320kg) pick ups getting ready for competition. I like these as they over prepare the body for the up coming moving which I’ll add in soon. This ones a real man maker and will very quickly find any weaknesses.
