The verdict: I think they're a lot squishier than the pic in the recipe looks.... and my mini food processor just couldn't handle the mixture so I ended up using a potato masher in the end 😂

CHOCOLATE CHIA PUDDING 🍫 1/3 cup chia seeds, 1 cup almond milk, 2 tbsp cocoa powder, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, 1/4 tsp liquid stevia. It's amazing. 🍋LEMON POPPYSEED MUFFINS🍋
➕no processed sugar!
🍋zest of 2 lemons
🍋1/2 cup coconut oil
🍋6 TBSP lemon juice
🍋1/4 teaspoon salt
🍋1/4 cup organic honey
🍋2 tsp vanilla extract
🍋2/3 cup coconut flour
🍋1 tsp baking soda
🍋2-3 TBSP poppy seeds
➕preheat oven to 350
➕Add all ingredients to blender or food processor except the poppyseed. Mix until even consistency throughout
➕stir in poppy seeds
➕spoon into muffin pan until almost full...they will puff up a little
➕Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
If you wanted to make them with no honey you could use 12 drops of liquid stevia. They were pretty sweet and cupcake like. You could definitely frost them and make them cupcakes!🍋👍🏼🙌🏼😊

Geez hubby knows the way to my heart! Was completely spoilt with a surprise visit to @thecleantreatsfactory today. Aside from the delicious plant based menu, I fell in love with the beautiful, cozy decor. Despite it being such a large space, the layout feels intimate and makes you want to stay for hours. I would 100% pick a corner and chill here with my laptop!
I couldn't go past the turmeric pancakes with berries, cinnamon and walnuts. I was a little nervous the turmeric may be too overpowering but they got the balance of flavours right and it was suuuuper delicious!!! My meat-eating hubby ventured out and tried the zoodles which he gave the thumbs up and was surprised how filling they actually were.
We took soooo long to finally decide on a dish that I'll definitely be back again. I had my eye on the Nourish Bowl but just couldn't go past the pancakes for my birthday😍🎁🤸💛

Nice cream is so delicious and I’ve been craving it!! I’ve been holding on to the bananas in my fruit basket waiting patiently for them to ripen up so I can use them for nice cream, smoothies and other healthy desserts on my list. But my kids and husband keep steeling them !😩Last night I managed to get one ripe banana and I blended it with 2 cups of frozen strawberries. It made the most delicious nice cream and I didn’t even need to add any liquid or fat, it magically became creamy and smooth! The trick is to make sure you have enough fruit in the processor. I have a Vitamix and it’s pretty big so I have to use big quantities in order to make it work. What I do is that I freeze some portions for further use. When you eat nice cream right away it’s like a soft serve ice cream and when you freeze it for further use it’s the texture of ice cream. What I love the most is that no sweetener is needed!! Fruit is naturally sweet, especially bananas and my bowl last night was super sweet 😊❤️🍓🍌🍦 Je pense que je m’ennuie de l’été parce que ça fait quelques jours que j’ai tellement le goût de faire de la crème glacée aux bananes (ou plutôt de la “nice cream”). C’était mon dessert favori l’été passé mais ces jours-ci, on n’a jamais de bananes mûres chez nous, tout le monde les mange avant qu’elles ne mûrissent!! 😩Mais voilà que hier, j’ai réussi à avoir une belle banane mûre et je l’ai combinée à deux tasses de fraises surgelées. Je les aies mises dans le robot ou plutôt mon Vitamix et j’ai laissé l’appareil transformer ces fruits en un mélange lisse, crémeux et soyeux. C’était tout à fait délicieux!! Nul besoin de sucrer puisque les fruits sont naturellement sucrés. Et lorsqu’on la mange tout de suite, c’est comme une crème glacée molle et si on co gèle pour plus tard, c’est la texture d’une crème glacée régulière.
